★★★★★ My first time eating Ethiopian food and I loved it! I'd been meaning to try this place what with all the positive Yelp reviews and hype in Memphis. The owners are really sweet and the food was really good. We got the hanid and rice (goat), chicken and rice, and maqli and bread (beef stew), and they were all amazing. Portions were really generous. The area is a bit sketchy but not bad in the daytime and they close at 6pm so not really an issue. I'll definitely be going back. Posted on May 7, 2016 |

★★★★★ I am from Paterson, NJ, where Alhamdulillah the Muslim community is very large. I went to Memphis on a business trip, and found this place through zabihah.com and couldn't wait to try it. The food was excellent, and the customer service made the whole experience even better!! We have plenty of halal restaurants with great food in Paterson, but this was by far one of my best 'eat out' experiences I've ever had! Posted on May 16, 2016 |

★★★★★ I had the Hanid & rice dish for lunch and found it to be well prepared and tasty. I always prefer chicken, lamb or beef dishes to goat, but I was not disappointed with the goat in this dish because the meat quality was good and it was cooked properly. The complimentary soup and salad served with meal was very good too. The owner is very friendly and her service is excellent. Posted on April 1, 2016 |

★★★★★ Excellent food with great service. The menu was slightly confusing, but the owner came over and walked us through as this was our first visit. He helped us order. We loved the food. My kids can be picky but the both loved the Fuul and the Beef stew. My wife and I shared the garlic chicken and a lamb dish.
We would will go again when we are in Memphis. Posted on January 1, 2016 |
