★☆☆☆☆ Our experience was so bad that I had to create Zabihah account and post this. After reading reviews, we went in Ramadan for dinner , called up to see if booking is required as we were going from far and the girl assured that I don't have to book and they will have enough seating. Reached there with kids and there was no seat and chaos. After 15 minutes standing on one side with kids, finally got seats at one tight corner, ordered the food. For breaking the fast they provided dates and water to every table except us so after Azaan went to counter to get water but instead was told that someone will bring water. After 5 mins she did but no dates. Then after 10 minutes she came back to tell that they don't have what we ordered and we ' have' to order something else. That was annoying enough as no sorry, no regrets or apologies but was just told to do that. At this moment I had enough and I cancelled whole of the order. Even then she asked ' why' are you cancelling. Then she returned the amount for order but without tip. I was so angry that I asked her to give back tip too as we did not get anything there except one glass of tap water. Finally, after 30 minutes of Azaan we went to Nandos and got our iftaar after 45 mins of Azaan. Hope , never again! Posted on September 6, 2015

★★☆☆☆ Went there with Family for lunch. Loved the look of the place but was extremely dirty. There was a girl behind the counter just standing there and almost all the tables were dirty. There was only one table where people were eating and that was it so they were not busy at all. We ordered our food and sat. The girl brought out plates, cutlery, and glasses which were all dirty. It looked like they just rinsed them with water from the last meal. Our food came and was OK but we found hair in our Samosa. Don't think I'll eat here again. Dine at your own risk. ★☆☆☆☆ ... There is a Jawab, it's called seasoning. The only thing that was consistent during our dinner at La- Jawab, was the consistently under seasoned food. The karhai was watery, the butter chicken tasted like cream of tomato soup, the chohlay tasted like cardboard. All the grilled items, chicken boti, chicken wings, reshmi kababs and lamb chops were extremely under seasoned ( wings were also burnt ). The only nice things that I can say about the restaurant was that it was clean and the fact they stocked both coke and Pepsi. Posted on August 6, 2013

★★★★★ Went last night with the Hubz and the Munchkin.. We had the Tikka Boti, Fresh Tandoor Naan, Boneless Chicken Biryani and Fries and Wings! Lets just say I'm craving it again today! Portion sizes are great for the price..who wants to drive all the way to Gerrard St?? No need for that anymore! You have GOT to try the wings!!! Please give this place a try! Its absolutely gorgeous on the inside with immaculate restrooms and a changing table for mama's with the mini babies. Food is Authentic and AMAZING! Posted on March 12, 2013

As bobntiku said, clean, large, spacious (not crammed), no music (keep it that way please!), friendly, fairly fast service, good quality food, a little pricey for me, modern furniture and high walls in the seating cubes (good for sisters who wear niqab). One suggestion is to get those folding wicker divider screens as they are portable and will help make customers who wear niqab much more comfortable. Good job.
