★☆☆☆☆ Asalamu Aliekum,
I'm sorry I usually love giving 5 but this was truly a terrible experience. First off they had us waiting, the service was not even on a professional customer service quality. They told us that "they think" the menu is halal.
We order the fish plate since we didn't want to risk it. We waited for over 40 minutes without any explanation as to why it was taking so long...
Once the food came the cries were soggy, the fish still smelled and looked as if it was not throughly cooked.
Then the menu states the entree plates are all 13.7. Well when we got the bill they charged us 29.99 for each plate. They also added an 18% gratuity.
A place like this wether it's Muslim own or not is unprofessional and close to thievery.
As you have read this restaurant should be taken off of Zabihah, we will never come here. Posted on September 11, 2015 |

★★☆☆☆ Concur with last comment. Owners are not Muslim and restaurant staff were not sure whether the meat is hahal. Posted on May 3, 2012 |

NR Just an info this place own and run by Lebanon christian family, why would they sell halal? It would be like Muslim selling kosher food where hardly any Jewish lives. I am very confused about brothers Posted on September 7, 2011 |
There are many restaurants that are not owned by Muslims who serve Halal food to their Muslim customers, and there are plenty of Muslims who live in this area |

NR Salamu Alakum All,
Since i was not sure about this place ( no-where does it says Zabihah or even Halal, even on the website ) and the environment was pretty questionable as well so i called the place. Someone by the name of Holly received the call and said it in clear words that the meat is not Halal. So my conversation ended there. Posted on September 23, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ Place is okay overall. The set-up is okay and is the service is not bad but not all that great either. I would say the food is a little to expensive given the quality of food, service, and atmosphere. It makes a decent place if your looking for a quick bite to eat. Posted on April 25, 2009 |

★★★★☆ we go here often - the chicken kefta is the best thing on the menu - hummus is good too...owner is afraid of losing Jew customers - that seems odd and only reason not to post a sign saying it is Zabihah food inside? I am proud to be Muslim and hater Jews will miss out on good food here...that is too bad...because not all Jews would behave in that manner. Posted on April 12, 2009 |

★★★★★ We ate at this resturant. The food was excellent, and the staff were really welcoming. We asked if it was halaal and the owner said it was. Posted on April 25, 2008 |

★★★★☆ great beef kebabs! the chicken kebabs could use a bit more marination. the kefta kebab was good. beef kebabs were the best thing on the plate, good quality meat! we asked the owner guy "Is your meat halal, because there's been some question of whether it's halal or not." he said, "it's ALL Halal." we asked why he doesn't put a sign up? he said, "We get lots of Jewish customers, so I've decided not to put up a sign, but all our meat is Halal." There you have it... it's confirmed. Just thought I'd let everyone know. Posted on October 30, 2007 |

★★★☆☆ I used to order from this place all the time because the workers said it was halal. Then I heard the food wasn't halal and I called to ask and the employees said "Halal, only the shish something is halal..." Good food though, small place....sorta expensive.. Posted on March 31, 2007 |

NR I called and the owner told us that everything is Halal. Assuming they were Muslim, we went there and ate ( I did not read the reviews here prior to our visit).
The food was good, but while we were leaving, I noticed that they were Christian, not Muslims. So I am really doubtful if it's truly Zabihah halal. It needs to be verified by a local person. Posted on January 9, 2007 |

★★★★☆ Only the Kefta Kabab is halal. Too bad, b/c the food is pretty good. Posted on July 17, 2005 |

★★★★☆ This place is not Muslim owned. One of the people working their thinks the guy who delivers meat is muslims thus she made the conclusion it Zabihah Halal. It's Ahlul-Kitab-Halal But NOT zabihah and only the beef according to her. Allahu alam. Falafel is good. Posted on June 1, 2005 |
