★★★★☆ I\'d give this place 5 stars if they didn\'t serve alcohol. As for the food itself, absolutely exquisite. I\'m Iranian, and have been to many, many Persian restaurants. In terms of taste, this place is right up there with any of them. Their kabob barg (the filet mignon portion of the Soltani kabob) was the best I\'ve ever had. Before sitting down, we asked repeatedly whether all of their meat was halal, and they confirmed that they had a full halal menu, and their menu itself does state that they \"proudly\" serve halal meats. ★★★★☆ Very nice place in downtown LA. Please note that they only open for lunch so close early. Parking is a problem so you will have to park at a meter if you can find one or the pay to park lot next door. Food was good and reasonbly priced. Posted on September 21, 2012 |

★★★★☆ Recently discovered this place when a non-Muslim friend of mine pointed out the Halal Certificate that they saw on display in the restaurant. I went and it was great. It is only open during lunch time as it caters to mostly the working downtown la crowd, but that's perfect for me. I had the kabob and a friend had the barg, both were great. The meat was tender and very well flavored. Their zereshk polo was only decent, it was basically rice with fried zereshk (little cherries) put on top, not really cooked together like it's supposed to me. The place is also clean inside, so you can take friends from work.
All in all, it's not the absolute best Iranian restaurant out there, but it's definitely a good spot and a rare halal restaurant in downtown. Posted on June 18, 2010 |

★★★★☆ I visited this restaurants with my co-workers in November 2007, and they seem to have recently either moved to this location, or refurbished the space. The food was excellent, and my non-Muslim co-workers really loved it. I am fairly picky about Iranian cuisine - the kebabs and rice seem overly dry to me, sometimes. But theirs is very savory. I spoke with the owner's son who invited me to view their halal certificate, which I didn't have time to do, since I was on my lunch break. I highly recommend this place, based on on my experience. Their service was prompt and very courteous, they seem anxious to please/succeed. We were a party of about 9, and we showed up without reservations. They don't have 'halal' written anywhere, but I was assured multiple times that they use halal meat. I was told that they have Jewish customers who eat there because of the similarities between halal and kosher. Posted on December 14, 2007 |
