★☆☆☆☆ I visited it once and I am not going to repeat it again !!
I'm not happy with the experience!!
I heard about LA fresh Poultry from the mosque, I was so excited to visit it and finally to buy halal chicken!!
It was easy to find the store, the lady there speaks Arabic, so it was really easy to communicate with her.
However,
The place was so dirty and grimy, I felt uncomfortable there :(
Any way,
I bought 1 "Baladi" chicken, the lady told me the "Baladi" is the best and it costed me 12 $.
I was excited to cook it, but it was so hard to eat :/
My mum told me that the Hen was so old !! this is why it is hard to eat!!
I felt bad that the lady in the store didn't give a good "chicken" :( Posted on April 15, 2015
★★☆☆☆ I went in there after reading the Zabihah reviews and I was not impressed. The place did not have any meat laid out on trays. There were no rate signs. The gentleman at the front register was nice so I asked him the prices for chicken. He called a lady from the meat room (a second room where they were cutting the meat). We had a difficult time communicating and I felt the prices were a little higher than the market rate. Posted on February 23, 2013
★★★★☆ This is both a restaurant and halal meat market. They have been in business for 10 years there and serve whole rotisserie chicken and other halal food items in their restaurant. The really interested thing about LA Poultry is that they told me they halal slaughter the chickens for all orders (except restaurant orders) on a daily basis. Posted on February 20, 2010
