★★★★☆ I've been to the Crazy Falafel in Granada Hills which is more traditional middle eastern food and really liked it. So when I realized there was a other location which also had burgers I had to try it out. I pulled up just a bit before closing, and the guy taking my order was really nice. Overall customer service was great. Food was ready within 10 minutes. Very reasonably priced. I ordered a mozzarella burger combo (with fries and a drink), and a 3 piece falafel side, all for under $13. Definitely worth it. The burger was cooked well but my bun was a bit soggy. The patty could have used some more/better seasoning but overall it was pretty decent. Fries were plentiful and thick cut which was great for taste but inconsistent in texture (some were crispy, some where not). They were well salted but could have used some flavoring/seasoning. Falafels were pretty good, nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Tasted great with the tahini sauce, but the sauce had a bit of a gritty texture. Overall I enjoyed the food and look forward to returning to try the philly cheesesteak, soujouk and shawarma. This location is just on Ventura Blvd west of Tampa Ave, conveniently located just south of the 101. There is limited parking in the lot but street parking is available on Ventura as well as the residential side street. Crazy Falafel is attached to Crazy Car wash, which is a genius business combo in my opinion. Open daily from 11am - 9pm, great for take out or you can either eat in the patio-style outdoor dining area which is open until 8pm (partially covered, perhaps while getting your car washed).
