I prayed Jumma in closeby Somalian masjid and actually asked them about a halal eatery close by and the namazee recommended this place. Great food and price very reasonable. Food is good. However many people in and out of San Diego have concern that they DO NOT serve halal food. The reason for this is the meat they purchased is not from halal source. Can mystic grill folks address this concern by revealing their source of meat???

As we went to enter this comment, we noticed the information above about the pepperoni pizza not being halal. ★☆☆☆☆ We ordered chicken & beek kabob. The chicken was OK and the beef was undercooked and had an odor. I sent the beef back after trying a piece to see if cooking it further would help- the second time still came back wiht the odor and tough!
