★★★☆☆ This is a completely halal Thai restaurant serving a small menu of Thai appetizers and entrees, but mostly specializing in dessert. There is a reasonable amount of space in the dining room, but call ahead for parties greater than 4 people. Street parking is super-tight so be ready to park far away... if you're lucky. Leave the 1972 Mercedes-Benz 600 Kompressor (LWB) at home. You might also want to leave the smart fourtwo also, if not due to the parking situation than to the embarrassment of one's poor taste in cars. Incidentally, "SkyIce" is a blend of the words "sky" and "ice" and they are meant to be pronounced separately, so don't pronounce it as one word "skice" like this (initially) confused author.
Service was provided by the charming young woman who owns the restaurant. This reviewer does not recall the exact dishes he sampled, but they were disappointingly so-so. Perhaps he ordered the wrong things on the menu, and he is willing to give this restaurant another chance. And he will definitely get dessert next time. Posted on January 9, 2017 |

★★★☆☆ Halal, but the cuisine a bit bland...perhaps to cater to the area (park slope). Also pricey. Posted on October 20, 2015 |

★★★★★ This place is amazing! They have a lot of Ice cream flavors, including the heavenly fruit 'durians' (if you're not from Southeast Asia, then you should try!). Their Thai foods also great and have decent prices. The owner, a Muslim young lady, is super nice. When I asked her whether they serve halal foods or not, she ensured me saying "I'm a Muslim too." ★★★★★ I did not eat any of the dinner food here, but the desert is excellent! I HIGHLY recommend the lava molten cake.. it's delicious! The Thai ice tea was a little too sweet for me, but the ice cream was so good that I really didn't care. Posted on August 12, 2013 |

★★★★★ Amazing restaurant and conscious about their choices down to their utensils.
Food has been amazing every time we have visited and the dessert is definitely something to leave room in your stomach for. Posted on July 2, 2013 |

★★★★★ This is the new favorite restaurant of my wife and I! The food is amazing (all meats zabihah and halal). A different concept/combination of thai and icecream but it works! (You don't have to eat it together). The thai is very authentic and the ice cream is homemade (arguably the best in the city). The owners are great people. You couldn't ask for a better spot any night of the week. I would eat here everyday if I could. Posted on February 7, 2013 |
