★★★★☆ I travel to Grand Rapids for work and regularly visit this place for dinner. Almost everything I have ordered here turned out to be good. Lamb chops in particular are really well done. Also, do try out the fresh fruit/veggie juices. The sandwiches have some scope for improvement though.
The owners seem to be muslims and the staff as well as the menu assure that the meat is zabihah halal. One thing that they might be better off doing away with is the weird music that is played in the restaurant. It would be best if they don't play any music, but if they have to, atleast play something that doesn't sound like noise.
Overall, a decent place to eat. Posted on September 16, 2015 |

★★★★★ This place was fantastic Alhamdulilah- states it is Halal in front of menu. Nice clean, tastefully decorated decor. Food and meal options were very good. Did I mention they serve Raw fresh juices here, What other halal place ever does this!!!! I had a Cobra juice- carrot, beet, orange and apple =amazing. Fresh baked bread and garlic dip for all diners, very yummy, food delicious and waiter was great and I am glad to see the waitresses in some form of uniform clothing, not hijabis but modest dress. No alcohol here. Only dislike to me is the tv playing Arab music videos, which is not loud but Wouldn't want my children to hear/ watch, but I know many people listen to music so you might see it as a plus. Nice place, if I was in Town again I would come back, traveling from OH. Posted on July 5, 2013 |

★★★★☆ I have eaten here a few times. Lamb kabob was done right and tender. Shish Combo was good. Hummus is tasty. Warm bread and garlic (a little strong) served when you sit down. Posted on April 23, 2014 |

★★★★☆ We ate here and LOVED IT! We had such a hard time finding actual halal restaurants in Grand Rapids. This restaurant was very far from our hotel, but well worth the drive. The soft bread, grilled vegetables, and service are wonderful. We didn't know they had 2 locations until we drove across town. We ordered the combo with a salad and i specified no onions. Our waitress was new and forgot to mention the no onions to the chef. When i noticed the onions they gave us another salad with no onions and let us keep the other one (which my husband loved!). Our only complaint was the waitress hovered a bit and kept checking in on us (we were the only customers) which made it hard to fully enjoy our meal. Otherwise definitely above average! No alcohol served and the cook looked very Muslim! Posted on November 12, 2012 |
