★★☆☆☆ Even though, this is supposed to be a Pakistani restaurant, the food here is not authentic at all. They only server easily made dishes like daal, tandoori chicken, biryani etc. However, the dishes tastes like they were made by an unskilled cook who has no background of Paksitani style cooking. They also don't serve haleem or nehari ... the place however has better ambiance, cleanliness and seating then other restaurants in the area.

NR Don't bother throwing a party here, they will rip you off !! They charge several dollars extra for the same buffet menu that they serve everyone else!! They won't make any changes to the menu and they don't budge on anything. We had a party here and there were barely any pieces of meat in any of the dishes, they didn't really replenish the items at all, mostly sauce! Really disappointing and so embarrassing to our guests not to mention overpriced. Won't come back here again. Posted on September 3, 2015 |

★★☆☆☆ Writing this review as I am just finishing my meal at Tawa Tandoor. Here with my parents, wife and 2 kids. We all were very much disappointed, given that we were looking forward to eating some good food in Jackson Heights. Food was less than ordinary. Looks like this place survives on foot traffic. ★☆☆☆☆ Dont waste your time! We ordered food and the food came out ice cold after telling the waitress she advised us she can pack it and we can warm it up when we get home. We even spoke to the owner it wasnt about the money but how do you serve cold food to someone and then say we can't do anything about it? This was the first and last time we will ever go there. ★★☆☆☆ I went there in December. compared to the other restaurants in jk hts, this restaurant has a nice atmosphere. food and service was good too. BUT 3-4 days later when I checked my credit card, I saw that for some reason I was overcharged even after adding the tips. I called them up and they said they'll take care of it. After seeing no change, I called them again 4 times in January and february. Still no change.
