★★★★★ Food is zabiha halal. My husband and I travel a lot so we are often disappointed after trying places that have such high reviews. However, this place did meet their high reviews. We ordered chicken biryani, chicken karayi, garlic naan, regular naan, mango lassi and mango juice. Total was $30. Besides mango juice, everything was really tasty and would highly recommend this place to anyone. Quantity was good as well. Do try it out! We also tried their buffet. Great variety a must go! ★★★★☆ We ate at this place few weeks ago. The food has certainly gotten better. However, I felt uncomfortable about the environment. The owners are Muslims and are running a Zabihah restaurant, However, They had Indian songs running on TV which made us uncomfortable with the family. May be the restaurants owner watch inappropriate stuff with their families but not everyone can stand it. Not only that, they didn't turn the TV ON at the time of Maghrib. What can we expect from Non-Muslims if Muslims don't have respect for their own values and religion... May Allah give them Hidaya... Posted on November 5, 2012 |

★★★★☆ the place has new owners and a new cook. The food quality has definitely improved with an awesome desi naashta (brunch) on weekends from 12-4PM. I used to avoid this place, now I crave it. Posted on July 5, 2012 |

NR My family and I went to Village Restaurant a few days ago. This was our twelfth trip there and it is just as great as our last eleven visits. The food is delicious and fresh. We had Chicken 65, Karahai Ghosht, Brain Masala, Chicken Karahai, and their famous Naans. Their naans make the meals even better. We think there is no better place to get naans than Village Restaurant. It is a good place for a family outing or dinner. The staff is super friendly and the owner was extremely helpful and a nice man. The dining hall was very nice too. It's very eye-catching. The children love to play in the back area of the dining hall. It's very clean and open. It is a great place to eat out with the family or a friend! The food, again, is fresh, hot, and mouth-watering! Thanks Village Restaurant Posted on June 3, 2009 |

★★★★☆ I think its the only Pakistani restaurant in this area and it fills the gap very nicely. We tried dishes like nihari, etc. and found them to be great.
The place is very well-decorated representing Pakistani folk culture (charpai, etc.). The music (songs) were the only thing not matching the ambiance. Posted on November 4, 2008 |

★★★★★ Must agree with everone else. I read the reviews and decided to give the place a try. Arrived for a wonderful lunch buffet. Nice variety and very reasonable price. Too spicy for kids, but can efinetly satisfy any one's spicy tongue.
Very friendly staff, even offered the kids a large serving of french fries since they couldn't eat much from the buffett. Afte the meal, we asked for a prayer area and was invited to pray in a very nice isolated musalla room of the staff. Will definetly go back soon. Only thing of notice is the dark diner, could use more lighting.
Their next door grocery shop was a wonderful experiance too. Regreted afterwards not buying more of their fresh mango. Posted on May 4, 2008 |

★★★★★ Wonderful place to eat with the family. The decor is beautiful and the place is very clean. One of the nicest places to get Zabihah food in Indianapolis. The food is excellent (we had nihari, fontier gosht, garlic naan, mango lassi, and channa chat). The staff is very friendly. They also offer reasonable catering (we are using catering for a wedding). They offer catering packages that range in price from 8 dollars per person to 15 dollars per person. I highly recommend everyone to give this place a try. Posted on July 3, 2007 |
