★★★★★ WOW... Great halal food and great prices. I was there for jummah and went to eat afterwards with my family. Food was amazingly fresh and reasonably priced. Will definitely return every time I’m in Houston. Quantity and quality is amazing. Menu is limited to 6-7 items but definitely worth every penny. ★★★★★ This place is located in the back of a masjid. The burger and fries are legit. Not sure what the below reviewer "escape" means by feeling "awkward" going there? Is it because this place is attached to a masjid? Or because it's attached to a shia masjid? In either event, perhaps 'escape' needs to first learn to "escape" from his/her own hatred and bigotry before leaving such types of reviews. The food here is good, regardless of the fact that it is contiguously located to a masjid. There's nothing awkward about that for me. I recommend this place. Posted on January 2, 2013

★★★★★ Oh, the chai! It's probably the best in the Universe blessed by Allah (swt). The kabobs and kabob sandwiches are fantastic, the fries are divine and the burgers are just what I needed. Downside, they're only open on Friday for jummah and for the nights, Sundays for lunch, but they do cater. The masjid is wonderful, lush carpets, plenty of parking, friendly Iranians, Pakistanis and Indians and some of the sisters are Mexican Americans. Alhamdulillah. Posted on March 20, 2012
