★★★☆☆ The place was packed as the wait time was approx. 35 minutes. Once we got seated, the food was ordered. Food came rather quickly to our surprise. Date of visit: Saturday 4/8/2017 I like to rate restaurant based on three categories: Atmosphere, Service and Food. Atmosphere: As mentioned the place was packed. We sat next to the kitchen entry so we could see workers walk in walk out. I didn't look right as I could see restaurant supplies and other things that should be kept out of sight. They should put a screen or a saloon door in place to hide the view. My chair was wobbly and our seat had a wall behind us and noticed the fabric was ripped on a lot of the places. Lighting was appropriate. I appreciated the music that was playing in the background to add to the festive mood. Overall the place could use some TLC. Rating: 2.5 Service: Considering it was very busy night so it was understood the long wait time for the server to come to our table. Our server was very polite and friendly. She knew the menu very well so the communication around menu selection was good. I asked the ordered beverage be served with food but it didn't come until I had to flag down the server and asked for it. Being busy shouldn't be an excuse. I blame that on management for not having appropriate coverage. Rating: 4 Food: We ordered Shrimp in Thai Curry, Kung Pao Chicken and Chili Chicken. Without going too much in detail the food was average to above average. It was served hot and fresh. A little spicy for my taste but pretty good. Definitely not the best and certainly not the worst. Rating: 3.5 Overall: 3.5 Note: If I compare this restaurant to similar level American restaurant (price/service/atmosphere, etc) then this would get 2.5 rating.
