★☆☆☆☆ Worst food I had tried in Chicago area. Terrible customer service. Person taking orders had no expressions on his face, very unfriendly. I was ordering for carry out, so I would care less for him. I was told to wait for 25 min, I came back after 30 min and still had to wait for 10 more min. I would not recommend it especially with young kids. We ordered Chicken Pakoras and Chicken Seekh Kababs. Chicken Pakoras had only taste of Tabasco hot sauce and breading. Some chicken pieces were even smelly. Chicken Kababs looked and taste more like hot dogs. They were deep fried (yes deep fried and not BBQed - and owner confirmed it). I took few bites and throw out. Next morning, I had food poisoning (probably because of Pakoras) and to consult with my doctor. I called the owner and complained, he was as shameless as a person can be. I demanded my refund and he was not willing to issue it. I am filing a complaint with Food Department. Posted on April 9, 2019 |

★☆☆☆☆ I suspect this page is full of fake reviews. First, if you look at any other restaurant page on Zabihah, you'll see that there are relatively low numbers of restaurant followers compared to the number of reviews. This restaurant has over 1 follower for every 2 reviews, a ratio that is likely unprecedented on any other page. Additionally, the proportion of reviewers with only one review (i.e. this restaurant) is much higher than other popular restaurants where most reviewers tend to have multiple reviews. Finally, many of the single review reviewers have tended to pool together, reviewing the restaurant within days of each other. Posted on May 18, 2017 |
We will take a closer look at the reviews |

★★★★☆ Chicken Boti had authentic Pakistani taste but biryani was good too. Loved their naan. Posted on April 8, 2016 |

★★★★★ Wonderful food especially goat beryiani was the best. Will definitely go again. Posted on July 30, 2015 |

★★★★☆ Their food has become better than what I remember. Recently tried their beef boti nihari and biryani and loved all but the latter. I have had better biryani from shahi nihari. Posted on June 28, 2015 |

★☆☆☆☆ This is my second visit to this place and same experience every single time. Only reason I go here is because this place is open till 11pm on weekdays. Everything we ordered was cold. Chicken smelled like as it was made a week back, re-heated and served. Chicken Biryani was oily and nasty. Ambience is disgusting and waiter's service is extremely rude. I would give zero stars to this place. Very bad experience. Would never ever come back to this place. Posted on May 2, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ This restaurant has the worst food ever, I would rather fast than eat here. I ordered tandoori chicken, seekh kabob and chicken boti. Tandoori chicken and chicken boti had lot of red color and no spice n flavor at all. I ordered beef seekh kebabs and ended up getting chicken kebabs which were extremely bland. Naan were somewhat ok but not as good and soft as other paki restaurants. I ended up throwing half the food. Their service is extremely unprofessional, seemed like they are giving you favor by taking your order and food. It was the worst $42 I ever spent. I don't recommend this place at all. ★★★★★ This was truly a meal fit for a king; the most beautiful food I have ever seen, some of the best food I have ever tasted and the best service I have received. I have now had the privilege of enjoying Bhai Mian's three main popular dishes, Nihari, Frontier Chicken, and Chicken Pakoras; Bhai Mian is an absolute genius and is truly the master of modern cuisine. BBQ Tonight will remain number one in my book. Posted on January 20, 2012 |

★★★★★ This was some good home cooked food. Posted on January 20, 2012 |

★★★★★ The staff was friendly, the place was spotless, I felt right at home. The Nihari I ordered was fresh and tasted far better than any other nihari I've anywhere else. The naans were very freshly prepared with just the right level of crispness. Very excellent meal, you can count me in as a future returning customer. Posted on January 19, 2012 |

★★★★★ This restaurant is a like museum for the taste buds. It's more about exploring culinary sensations than filling your stomach (though by the end of my meal, I was perfectly full.. not stuffed, not still hungry, just wonderfully satisfied) So don't expect to absolutely love everything, but definitely expect everything to be an amazing experience.
The service here defines fine dining. There was always a server nearby.. not hovering, but ready to approach if needed. They were courteous, cognizant of their customers needs, and just all around fabulous.
The level of service rounded out an incredible culinary experience making this one of my most memorable dining events. Posted on January 19, 2012 |

★★★★★ What I really enjoyed about Chef Bhai Mian's cuisine was that, besides being obviously avant-garde and exquisite, it's really just quite tasty. I'm a pretty adventurous eater, but at the end of the day I still tend to usually prefer food that's more on the comfort-food end of the spectrum. Despite the inventive presentation and combinations of flavors, many of the dishes I sampled here during my meal thrust forth flavors that were ultimately quite fundamental and familiar. Chef Bhai Mian manages to retain essentially the heart and soul of many various cuisines from around the world and convey some core essence of the food despite dressing it up in his particular style. ★★★★☆ I have been to this place twice now. First time I ordered their mixed grill plate & this time I ordered Chicken Biryani. One thing is for sure, that their quantity is v. good. 1 chicken biryani is easily enough for 2 ppl (I eat a lot). mixed grill plate is enough for 4 ppl I guess. Quality wise the food (uptil now) has been good too. It's not a great place to sit though especially if you're with your family. It would be best to take away. Prices are OK. I would strongly recommend everyone to try this at least once. Posted on June 21, 2011 |

★★★★★ We've eaten and ordered from here MANY times. The naan IS the best I've had anywhere ever. The chicken pakoras with the tamarind chutney are awesome. The briyani is addicting. The frontier chicken and nihari are ok. I don't even like fish that much but I can eat their fish masala w/o a problem. And can't go without mentioning my all-time favorite- beef boti is so perfect...and the customer service is great specially in comparison to other halal restaurants in the area. ★★★☆☆ Tried once in the restaurant - karahi gosht was great; their kabab platter was also ok . Then last two time I tried take out as the place is not very nice to sit there.
Once the Nihari had sourness - must be old - we had to throw it. Then next time I ordered a tandoori chicken - it tasted awful.
This place has become popular due to its great tasting Pakistani food items but I am afraid it 's standard is going down at a fast pace. I do not know why our Pakistani business men lose their business ethics once it starts running.
Update 02/23/2011 - Tried take out couple of times again. Nihari, Frontier chicken, karahi and Nans are good. Posted on February 23, 2011 |

★★★★★ We've gotten carry-out more than once and catered as well. Each time, they're very accommodating to special requests. Besides that, it helps that the food is excellent. The butter chicken is amazing and my wife specifically loved the nihari. Posted on February 11, 2011 |

★★☆☆☆ Pricey and too much masala. If you have a stomach problem, don't eat their food. It will burn your stomach. Service is horrible. When they got busy, no enough servers. Most of the time, owner is working alone. You have to get up and get the water yourself. We like some dishes only sometimes like Nihari or Mutton Biryani but we cannot eat it anymore because of too much spices. Posted on November 10, 2010 |

★★★★☆ I haven't tried anything else, but I love their chicken maqhani! The naan is really good too! Posted on October 19, 2010 |

★★★★☆ They have delicious nihari and to be honest some of the best naan bread around ...I couldn't find naan like this in Devon either! The biryani isn't that great but good service mostly good desi food Posted on October 12, 2010 |

★★★★☆ Food, Ambience, everything is great. The food tastes very good and is served fresh and warm. Limited menu but everything on there deserves to be tried atleast once. Posted on May 6, 2010 |

★★★★☆ The food is very good and service is very good. The cook is the same cook who used to cook for Sabri Nehari. I like going to this place. The prices are reasonable and portions are decent. Posted on January 29, 2010 |

★★★★★ I ordered take-out for 5 people recently. We got the following dishes: beef seekh kabob, chicken makhani, and frontier chicken. The food was fresh, piping hot, and excellent! The chicken makhani was incredible. I look forward to my next outing here. Posted on January 3, 2010 |

★☆☆☆☆ The place is horriable! I went there the other day for dinner, and the food tasted old and was so overpriced. I mean $40 for two dishes!!!! I have bad things from my collegues as well, but I thought I would give it a shot. The service was the worst of the worst, there was only one waitor, who was struggling the whole time taking orders. DO NOT GO HERE, IT WAS HORRIABLE, AND I CAME OUT SMELLING! Posted on December 27, 2009 |

★★★★★ We had to drive for quite sometime to get there but it was a great experience!! Owner seemed to be a very nice person with friendly attitude. He made extra efforts to make our dinner special. We thank everyone for their genuine opinions. We would definitely go back to try their other dishes Posted on December 22, 2009 |

★★★★★ BBQ Tonight is the best kept secret in the nw suburbs. It is conveniently located right on Golf Rd. near intersection of Higgins Rd. The food here is phenomenol, i strongly recommend the BBQ chicken roll and the Chef's Special Biryani, as others have said its like going to a relatives place becuz the service is so warm and Chef Bhai Mian is so genuinely nice i really hope u all can check this place out highly recommend it. ★★★★★ This place has the best BBQ Chicken kababs EVER! AND it is ridiculously cheap, I don't think I've ever spent more than $5-7 here and I've always been full! The place is perfectly hygienic. If your don't enjoy your mouth being on fire from time to time, I wouldn't recommend this place to you. Spicy and delicious as hell though, so if that doesn't float your boat, that's too bad because you totally missing out on some extremely good food. Posted on December 15, 2009 |

★★★★★ A great place to get a quick bite to eat. The service here is really quick. You can get a great, filling meal for a very reasonable price. I have been here several times for lunch and have always had a positive experience. This place is clean, the staff is great, and the food tastes good -- pretty good for a low-costing meal, in my opinion. Posted on December 14, 2009 |

★★★★★ Quite possibly the best fast food has to offer. These piping hot, fresh BBQ Chicken Tikka rolls and Seekh Kabobs are pure perfection! Which is why this place is always packed during lunchtime with hungry office workers and youngsters stopping by for lunch. The meat is tremendously well seasoned. There is a minor spiciness to it for those that may not eat any spice at all. The scent of garlic is very strong, so be aware that it will stick with you. It's also mixed with onions and you can add an egg. An egg makes anything taste even greater.
I tried the chicken and the goat. There's no scent to the goat meat. If no one told me, i would have though it was any regular meat found in american joints. The meats were well cooked, flavorful, and not dry. BBQ Tonight is the real deal my friends, the food here is not overwhelmingly oily or greasy it's just right. Totally worth the line and wait. you might as well order 2 rolls from the get-go because one is definitely not enough cause you will feel hungry again four hours later. Posted on November 21, 2009 |

★★★★★ Very, very delicious food. What we appreciated was that while there was a bit of heat to the dishes it didn't over power the flavor. We had the BBQ Chicken Tikka Boti, which came tender, tangy, sumptuous. That was the best Chicken Tikka we've ever had. We also had the Sizzling Beef Kebabs and the Trio of Veggie curries, accompanied by naan and rice. Mark me down as a repeat customer will be coming here often. Posted on November 20, 2009 |

★★★★★ In one word: UMAMI! I came here by hearing some good word of mouth and it was an absolutely the best decision I made. I ordered their famous BBQ Chicken Tikka dish. First off you get a sizzling platter of fresh, juicy, smokey tandoori chicken brought to your table along with piping hot naan (I like mine a little crispier than theirs, but it was fine). Their menu has lots of variety, you'll find a huge selection of dishes ranging from chicken tikka masala, lamb biryani, matter paneer, aloo gobi, channa masala, and some dishes I've never tried before. The service was superb. I would definitely come back here again. Posted on November 18, 2009 |

★★★★★ The food here is delicious and exciting. Pakistani food is surprising different from Indian food. The different dishes here exposed me to new flavors and textures that I'd never experienced. My favorite dish, some sort of chicken in some sort of yellow sauce, absolutely mystified me. How was it so tender, yet so creamy? HOW!? After doing some research, I learned that a lot of the food is cooked using a butter reduction base called ghee, that allows the food to be cooked at high temperatures without burning the dairy. The result is an intense flavor experience that is still complex enough to allow the sensation of distinct spices. It's spicy, but just enough to heighten the flavors without overwhelming them in heat. I'll be dining here more often in the future. Posted on November 14, 2009 |

★★★★★ Wow the food here is truly scrumptious and flavorful! This place was recommended to me by a friend living in the Schaumburg area. I ordered the Frontier chicken. Extremely flavorful!! The sauce had really intense and complex tasting flavors, hot, sweet tangy..... so good I am already craving it again and we were just there last night! The garlic naan bread was really delicate and delicious. The service was amazingly fast. The atmosphere is just clean, not spectacular. If they just cozied up the lighting a little it would actually help alot. The other items on the menu are pretty good and there are plenty of good options for younger kids who aren't into spicy food such as chicken nuggets and fried chicken. I'll be back for you soon your yummy chicken..... wait for me. Posted on November 14, 2009 |

★★★★★ This restaurant serves exceptionally well prepared food and at a price that everyone can afford.
The Biryani is very aromatic and very tasty. Their frontier chicken was pretty unique, it takes more like the desi Chinese (Chinese food South Asian style) I've had. My pallet was very pleased with the taste of the shami kababs since they're kind of hard to find on Devon. But the chicken rolls really stole the show, man were they sumptuous and mouthwatering. The naan was very tasty and very properly cooked, just the right texture. When I go back I'll try the nihari and other beef dishes.
Ambiance: Spartan but very clean, an improvement over many places on Devon.
Service: The people behind the counter were nice. No complaints. Posted on November 13, 2009 |

★★★★★ The food here is truly outstanding. I Had the mixed grill and goat biryani and both were outstanding flavors. The grill was exceptional. Prices are average and is family friendly. By the way, the meat is all Halal (Good for Muslims to eat). Posted on November 11, 2009 |

★★★★★ I went to this place twice in the last two weeks and that is how much I like it. Their chicken boti is surprisingly juicy and tender after heavy grilling. Lamb dishes were worthy to raise dead to life. My stomach did not complaint aftermath and neither did Justin's, which is virtually a good sign given the mix of dairy, spices and his fragile stomach. Added the hearty size of naan and rice, what an amazing treat! Posted on November 10, 2009 |
|
|
★★★★☆ The restaurant is clean. Service is slow. The first time, the food was excellent and quite plentiful. Since then they have reduced the quantity of food they serve. The food is better tasting than other similar restaurants in the area. However, i do not recommend getting anything with chicken. They serve only dark meat, a major blemish to an otherwise good experience. Posted on October 10, 2009 |

★★☆☆☆ We were not impressed by the food. we ordered Seikh Kabob, chicken nuggets (for kids), Haleem, and some chicken dish (don't remember). Seikh Kabobs were gross -- we felt like we were eating spiced dough. Haleem had too much aata and no meat in it. Food was extremely spicy. Nuggets were probably the best (expensive for kids meal though). Posted on August 29, 2009 |

★★★★★ BBQ Tonight is Delicious! I LOVE THIS PLACE! This is absolutely the most authentic Pakistani food I've ever tried. This place tops the charts on my list, almost everything on the menu is first class. Excellent choice of side dishes and entrees. Must try the Biryani and Chicken Tikka and naan. The house specialty is Nihari which is always prepared fresh and tastes very excellent. Great place to bring your family and friends for a get together. Posted on August 25, 2009 |

★☆☆☆☆ I found the biryani diasppointing and returned it.
Had to argue with the staff to not pay for the biryani.
The remaining food was bad too. Posted on August 7, 2009 |

★★★★☆ The food is pretty good, a little spicy if you're not used to lots of hot stuff, but good tasting. Clean restaurant with good service. Posted on April 16, 2009 |

★★★★★ Very friendly staff and clean sitting area. Their naan are the best in the area. Posted on March 25, 2009 |

|
★★★★★ Loved the food and staff is very friendly. We had catering also done with biryani, chicken makhani and dessert for 50 people and Chef Bhaimian is very good and reasonably priced at approx. $9 / plate. The food was well-liked by our guests and served in large portions. We had nearly a half tray of biryani left over after our dinner event. Posted on March 19, 2009 |

|
★★★★★ I ordered some Tandoori chicken and naan to go. The food was well prepared and the person who took my order on the phone was polite and courteous. So far the best Tandoori chicken in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. Posted on December 12, 2008 |

★★★★★ Good food - nice clean enviroment and good decor make it a definite candidate for dine-in. Would recommend. Posted on October 22, 2008 |
