★★★★★ Excellent food and great service !
They've assured me that all of their meet is 100% Zabiha Halal. Posted on August 8, 2014 |
|
|
★★★★☆ Food is very nice. Price is a bit on the high end. I personally feel this place could have done wonders if it were located closer to Irvine or Anaheim. Having said that, their lamp chops are worth trying Posted on February 13, 2014 |
|
|
★☆☆☆☆ Called them to check closing time of 11 pm. Lady on phone said they close at 10 pm instead 11 pm as listed here. Posted on January 26, 2014 |
Thanks - we made the change |

|
★★★★☆ Very close to LAX.
Clean, courteous, and good service with a smile. Food was very mild for a Pakistani dish, but I ordered their lunch special.
Quantity was enough for a light lunch before a long flight. It was perfect for me. Posted on January 20, 2014 |

|
★★★★★ Staff doesnt smile nor are they friendly. However, their food is Excellent. Their Chicken Curry, Naan and Beef Kababs were excellent. Fingerlicking good! Place is neat on the inside too. Posted on September 22, 2012 |
|
|
★★★★☆ +'s: excellent food, unique way of serving Pakistani food, good serving size.
-'s: a bit expensive, their service was good but initially they told us that they are closed at 9:45 pm, 15 mins before they close. Posted on April 7, 2012 |
|
|
★☆☆☆☆ Got their gyros and it was basically two strips of gyro meat with a few pieces of lettuce wrapped in naan. Could've made it at home. Didn't even provide any ketchup or sauce. Posted on December 28, 2011 |
|
|
★★★★★ I waa pleased with the food. I had ordered their mixed Kabob plate. It was a bit expensive but it was so tasty and well worth the price. The portions were big as well. Just be ready to wait because it is all made to order. Posted on December 11, 2011 |

|
★★★☆☆ Pros:The food was good, not as amazing as the reviews proclaimed. Cons: Service was slow and food is a bit pricey. A Seekh kabab wrapped in a naan was 7 bucks. Posted on November 5, 2011 |

★★☆☆☆ It was my 2nd time to Royal Kabob since I like the décor. However I was disappointed by the owners. The restaurant was empty around 7.45pm. The owner told us that we have to set in the back next to the bathroom door. I ask can we sit up front and was told no since there are reserved at 8pm. I did not want to set in back and wanted to wait. He told us that he can set the table by the entrance door if that will work us. We were happy to take that table. By the time we were done it was 9.30pm and his 8pm reservation had not shown up. I told him that we could have been done by now and his customer that reserved the tables did not show up. I don't think I will be eating here anymore. The owner does not know how to run a restaurant business. I love to eat and try all kind of restaurant and have never run into anything like this. The food is good and is priced right. The owner needs some training, if you like to listen to BS this is the place for you. He had made a simple salad and we heard all kind of BS on how he did the dressing. I can make the same salad with my eye closed. We try to order some gravy dishes and were told that they don't have it since they were so busy last night. How can you run a restaurant and most of the dishes in the menu is not available on a Friday night. Posted on June 5, 2011 |

★★★★★ Went in for Dinner, had a great & enjoyable experience. Good food, friendly staff & environment filled with Ambiance. Posted on February 4, 2011 |

★☆☆☆☆ I went on Tuesday tonight and there was nobody in the restaurant. The waitress/server/host asked us to sit anywhere. When we sat down, she asked us to move because she didn't want us to occupy the table because it was suppose to be for 4 people and we were 3. What the hell? There was nobody in this place and i asked again if there was table reserved but she said no but it's the policy.
There were no desi waiters or manager in this place which i think is a bad sign so i walked off. Posted on December 29, 2010 |

NR Harambuster-
They're food is 100% halal. The only alcohol they sell is at the liquor store next door (same owner as the restaurant). They don't even allow alcohol in the restaurant. Posted on December 28, 2010 |

|
★★☆☆☆ Food is OK. Service is lacking. I ordered Lassi with my meal & did not receive it when I was done. I asked the lady to cancel it but she said she could not do so. She then prepared it & poured it into a disposable cup because she had to make space for other patrons & she could not have me occupying a table. Posted on October 17, 2010 |

|
★★☆☆☆ Food was great but I am not sure about the authenticity . The owner mentioned that he does sell liquor. Other than that the food was great and service was ok. Posted on October 7, 2010 |

★★★★★ Excellent and delicious food. Very clean restaurant. Beautiful artwork on the wall. Would definitely recommend the place. The owner and his wife are particularly friendly and accomodating - can cook up any specific requests. Posted on September 16, 2010 |

NR I am big fan of Kabobs and have tried all of the places in LA that sells them, hence that makes me a good critique of Pakistani kabobs, this place has one of the best kabobs in town, specifically the Beef Boti Kabobs, they melt in the mouth and the taste remind me of back home...other kabobs are good as well, but they need to work on the chicken seekh kabob a bit, too dry...other than I have tried other stuff on the menu and it's ALL good... ★★★★★ I came to LAX for business from TX. I tried this restaurent on my first night - excellent food and top notch service. The owner is very friendly and curtious as well. So far I have been thrice with my family and all of us including my kids like their food. I wish Tareq (owner) could open a branch in TX. They use zabiha organic chicken and every thing is cooked in the tandoor oven. Insah-allah I'll be in this restaurent when I'll get chance. Posted on August 7, 2009 |

★★★★★ This place is amazing. It is without exaggeration this is one of the best restaurants I have been in South Bay area. The food is excellent and customer service is top notch. I live in Chino Hills, California about 60 miles away from the location of this restaurant and I happen to be in the area for business. I had lunch with my colleagues and they were astonished with the quality of the food and service. The owner and employees greeted us with respect, smile, and high quality customer service. The food was incredible. We cleaned our plates like there is no tomorrow. There is no place I would go every time I am in the vicinity. This is a restaurant that would be a model for other restaurants who aspire to provide quality food with excellent cutomer service. Posted on May 31, 2009 |

★★★★★ Living in Los Angeles for the past 25 years. I have never come across a restaurant that serves Paki food this good and match the service this place offers.
I am in love with this place, and could live off their food for the rest of my life if I had to !! Posted on May 23, 2009 |

★★★★★ Amazing experience. The food and service were both very well executed and the people were very friendly. Great environment for both family and friends. Very nice place for kids to go and hang out while enjoying home style food along with frozen yogurt. They also have wifi so I could get my work done there, as well. I highly recommend coming here for all of your desi food cravings and for hanging out with your friends!!! Posted on April 16, 2009 |

★★★★★ We visited LA from Houston and went to this restaurant after reading good reviews on Zabihah.com. We found the place to be very clean and well maintained. The food was very tasty also. The owner was very nice and took great care of us when he came to know that we were visiting. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Posted on January 25, 2009 |

★★★★★ The owner was veryyyyy nice. The combination we ordered beside the boneless chicken meals were awesome. The kabobs were spicey but we made sure at the next time to keep it as mild as possible. I would go again and again whenever I visit Los Angeles. I highly recommend it! Posted on December 29, 2008 |

★★★★★ Went for dinner with family and everyone left happy. Food and seating area both were good. Chicken tikka masala - tasted great. The kabob platter which was a mix of kababs was also very good. Naans were solid. Prices were good. Overall, good seating, good food. The location - we went in the night so I couldn't really see, but its near LAX airport. Posted on December 28, 2008 |

★★★★★ This place is amazing! Definately not your typical Pakistani/Indian restaurant....
First, the atmosphere is very nice...colorful wall colors, beautiful paintings, bollywood music videos playing, etc.
Second, the food is delicious. Everything on the menu tastes so good! Try something new every time I go and I am never disappointed.
Third, the people are very nice and sociable. They treat you very nicely...they realize that your business matters. They do their best to cater to the customers preferences, etc. Posted on December 21, 2008 |

★★★★★ Pretty decent food cooked in a nice and clean enviorment. The tandoor cooked Kabobs and Chicken Tikka have just the right amount of spices and served with excellent chutni. Very professional food presentation with pleasant and attentive service. Posted on December 18, 2008 |

★★★★★ This place is great! I am not a big kabob-fan but this food is so good. I have been there about 3 times and every time it gets better. Everything is cooked fresh in the Tandoor and comes out great.
All the food is cooked to order so it takes some time to get the food (10-15 mins) but as the owner says "Good Food Takes Time to Cook." and he is correct - the food is very good. Posted on December 17, 2008 |

★★★★★ Went for lunch with a few friends, from work and we were all extremely pleased.
The place was immaculately clean with modern décor. The staff was friendly and helpful.
We ordered Chicken tikka masala, chicken and beef seekh kabab. The food was REALLY good! Nice and spice.
Would highly recommend. Posted on December 8, 2008 |
