Maiwand Kabob opened in the fall of 1999 on a quiet corner in the heart of Columbia, Maryland. As Columbia’s very first Afghan restaurant, it was envisioned as a quaint, family-owned eatery with one simple goal: to provide generous portions of fresh Afghan food at moderate prices. Since our modest beginnings, Maiwand Kabob has slowly and thoughtfully expanded to four locations to better serve and accommodate our customers. ★★★★☆ If you've seen the way I gamble with my swings, you might assume that I'm down at Arundel mills gambling all the time. Well I am in the Arundel mills area often, but not to gamble. Instead its because of Allah rakha and this place: maiwand kabob. Mad props to the owner for being one of the first Desi uncles (technically afghan) to modernize the kabob joint restaurant model. Kabobs are delicious.

NR I have been to this place more than 30 times with family and friends. This is great Resturant in Maryland close to Arundel Mills mall.
