★★★★★ Upon arriving at PJ's India I was warmly welcomed by the staff. Despite the simplicity of the restaurant's outer decor, inside it was most extravagant: fresh flowers on each table, candles, a unique take on napkins, wonderful artwork on the walls and a really relaxed, jovial atmosphere. The food was sumptuous, vibrant Indian flavours combined with chef's special mixture of sauces were most pleasing to the taste-buds. In particular the chicken tawa with chilli and garlic stood out. This tender dish spiced beautifully with a range of not too piquant spices was mouth-watering. The tandoori salmon was also exceptional. This fresh fish dish fused with mint, yoghurt and masala was most original and delectable. The dish was definitely memorable and I would highly recommend both to lovers of Indian cuisine. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at PJ's India and hope to return very soon. Posted on July 20, 2009
