★★★★☆ Been here a couple times. Very clean Butcher Shop as well as Ethnic (Indo/Pakistani/Afghan/Arab) Grocery Store. All the meat is nicely displayed and is fresh. The Butchers are also friendly and clean. They have Halal Steak meat which is great. The prices are very reasonable as well. I also ordered some Afghan food from their kitchen area (limited seating area inside) and it was pretty good as well. Highly recommend this place. Posted on February 17, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ Mummy dear n her Son are on desk, maintain their courtesy. Some gyro, shawarma and burger combos are on offer with fries if you wanna make a meal, Mashallah halal and worth a try if you close to Union City on Fremont blvd in McDonald's strip mall Posted on October 8, 2015 |

★☆☆☆☆ Bad service.
I used to like this place until the butcher started becoming less friendly.
Then, they added a new butcher, the angry dude from the competitor's store.
OK, I said. I can still tolerate this place. After all, they have natural chicken.
Then, I ordered 2 rotisserie chickens for pickup at 5. I placed my order at 3. They even took my number.
At 5:15, no clue. They acknowledged that they received my order but had no explanation as to why it wasn't ready.
"Wait five minutes" they said. Umm, since when does it take five minutes to make 2 rotisserie chickens from scratch? Ohh, they meant five minutes Muslim Standard Time, which is really half an hour! I left before I got my chicken. Now that the competitor in the Ardenwood area is offering HFSAA certified meat as is the place down the street, I have no need for this place. ★★☆☆☆ This is run by the former owners of Madina Halal. Unfortunately, my experience with the former Madina Halal and this new place have been inadequate. Posted on July 16, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ I had the worst experience of my life at this place. The guy who rung me up was also the owner and was very unfriendly and rude. The store is a complete mess. No prices on items, meat and grocery prices are high and the meat is below average in quality. If you complain, the owner doesn't listen and gets hostile. i have heard multiples complains from my friends about how rude the owner is. I will not recommend this place to anyone. ★★★☆☆ Meat was ok. Service was not so good. The old man who rung us up was not friendly to us. Also some of their snacks were stale. Price was reasonable. At least they're an option. Posted on September 21, 2013 |

★★★★★ I have to tell you that this is one of the best halal food markets in the bay area. They have everything in this store. I have bought fresh beef, chicken and lamb from these guys and they are very good. The store is always clean and the owners and workers always have a great attitude. I have also ordered from their kitchen as well and the food was very nice. I really appreciate having this store around. I rarely rate excellent but I will for this store. ★★★★☆ This grocery store has everything. We buy our halal meat and spices from here on occasion. This place is run by the former owner of Madina Market in Fremont. I recommend because of their prices and selection. FYI I did notice one item that was not halal here. It was a canned chili and beef product. The owner has a lot of non-muslim customers who shop there so he might carry that item in store for them. I hope they remove the item altogether soon and make it a 100% halal supermarket.
