★★☆☆☆ This is an Indian restaurant. They serve alcohol. I asked the receptionist that if this is halal and he had a delay in reply and said yes. My response was "are you sure". On reply to that he said "it's halal of you don't want to believe it, it's up to you!". Nevertheless we went ahead and had a seat to eat. Ordered chicken tikka, lamb tikka appetizer and biryani as the main course. The chicken tikka was all red, not spicy and very bland. It appears, this is a fancy restaurant catering for the non-Desi. So the food may taste good for them but likely not to desis. The place has a nice ambience. The biryani rice appeared fried but again spices where not for the Desi tatebud.
Overall if one does not want any non zabihah or fish elsewhere at all, this is a place to visit. No tap water though, you pay 1.95 for still water bottle! Posted on June 7, 2016
