HALAL SUMMARY
The staff of this restaurant has verbally confirmed halal status.
★ There is no way this place is halal I hate food places that advertise halal just to lure in Muslim customers that care about halal.. This place just looks scary and for them to lie about it being halal is even scarier Posted on September 26, 2010
★★ Checked this place out cause of the review below, food is okay.. Not that delicious.. However the service isn't that good
Seems like the people don't want you there Posted on June 12, 2010
★★★★★ I love Sri Lankan food and this is probably the only place in Queens where you can get it. The restaurant itself isn't fancy (it's more of a hole in the wall), but the taste of the food more than makes up for the lack of atmosphere. The curries are spicy and delicious. The biryani is tasty. They have a wonderful dish called "goat fry" which is tender boneless goat meat fried with onions and spices. Last but not least is mutton roll (only $1 each), which is a crispy roll with spicy chunks of goat and potato filling. Since trying their food, I've become a regular customer. The services friendly and the food is great. What more could you want? Just a warning, Sri Lankan food is on the spicy side. Posted on November 13, 2008
