★★★★★ AssalamuAlaikum. Loved the food! Take my review with a grain of salt since I only had 1 dish here. I had the chicken with hot garlic sauce. It was super duper spicy. I think they purposely put extra crushed red flakes when they saw I was desi. It had me tearing and blowing my nose and I can handle spice! The taste was very good though it exceeded my expectations. I'll update review when I go again. My dish wasn't excessively oily. Only a few tables to sit down. Not really a family setting/neighborhood. Good for take-out and fair prices.
update:
went back and had chicken manchurian and general tso's chicken. both were pretty good and unique. The chicken with hot garlic sauce is my favorite though! Posted on June 5, 2013 |

★★★★☆ I usually don't do reviews but I Chinapan deserves one. It's a small place but for Long Island, there is not much choices for Halal Chinese. The lunch specials is $5.99/with soda everyday, weekends. Food quality is above average, its good. Spicy entrees are like desi Chinese spicy, since the owners seems like Indian/Pakistani. Nice place, worth a visit. Not much place to sit, but if you are in the area, take out would be a must. Prices are good and reasonable. Will definitely be going back again insha Allah. Do visit them and see for your help. Everything we tried was good. Posted on February 1, 2014 |

★★★★☆ The fried dumplings with the sauce are out of this world!!! Everything else is average.
Note: if u tell them to make your food spicy, it's gonna be crazy SPICY. Posted on January 2, 2014 |

★★★☆☆ The service is ok, but the food is GOOD! There is a variety of food to choose from and the location is convenient for Muslims living in Elmont, Franklin Square, or Valley Stream. However, I would prefer if they gave fried rice instead or white or brown rice. But it's worth it. Posted on August 4, 2013 |

★★★★★ THIS PLACE IS A GEM! I don't understand the negative reviews. My family has been taking out from here for years now and they've only gotten better with time. It's a modest little place that is hard to miss. But definitely worth a stop. Posted on June 2, 2012 |

NR VERY VERY Oily food!!
I had the Beef Lomein, SO Oily , OMG!!!
You need napkins to clean the oil, and soak it otherwise else it would be very unhealthy for intake of the body..
But after the oil is out which needs to be throughly taken out and clean, the Beef lomein is good tasting and shall take care of the hunger in the belly.

★★★☆☆ Ordered here with family when they first opened so tried quite a few items on their menu--food is okay. When you want chinese then this place is the closest restaurant to the large Muslim community in valley Stream. More like fast food than an eat-in place...only two or three tables and cramped. Soups need much improvement...chicken corn soup was too thick and the hot and sour was too watery...havent gone back since then, so hopefully they've improved with time? But their regular food items were good... Posted on December 14, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ This is run by one of the previous owners of KalonjiFlavors of Asia. Decent chinese food like the old Kalonji (not when the food started getting crappy towards the end of its run). They also have desi food but not on the menu - gotta ask for it. This should be treated as take-out only - they have a few chairs and tables but I'd rather eat in my car than in this place. ★★☆☆☆ Small place. Used to be Crown Fried Chicken and went out of business. Reopened as chinese.
Parking on street. Not the cleanest place...but will do. Posted on July 25, 2010 |
