★☆☆☆☆ They have a weird minimum of $8 spending per person if you get your food here. Posted on May 26, 2016 |

★★★★☆ This is a full-service restaurant located on Grand Avenue just off Queens Boulevard in Elmhurst serving fusion Desi-Chinese cuisine. Parking was readily available at 8pm on a weeknight, but rumor is parking gets tight during the day, so leave the Ford RS200 at home.
This reviewer tried the lollipop chicken ($7, very good friend chicken, but otherwise unremarkable), dry chili chicken ($10, excellent, served with white rice), tangra masala fried rice with chicken ($8, average), thai soup ($4, very good but pretty mildly flavored yet spicy).
Service was quick, friendly, and knowledgeable. Overall an excellent restaurant and worth returning to. NYC health department rating was an A. Posted on October 26, 2015 |

★★☆☆☆ Alhamdolillah, open on T-Day. Had a B health dept sign in window. Could have done without Indian music. But great courteous service. Chicken corn soup was filling, but almost unseasoned. I added chili and soy sauce. Most disappointing was the beef pad thai. Not sure I'll be able to finish it. Posted on November 28, 2013 |

NR Getting expansive and portion are getting smaller. But like the taste Posted on August 25, 2013 |

★★★★☆ Love the lollypop chicken and hakka noodles. Cute little restaurant but parking is a problem at times. Posted on April 12, 2013 |

★★★★★ Luv it! Best good in NY! Posted on August 21, 2010 |

★★★★★ Everytime we come to eat here, we are NEVER disappointed with the food!!! We drive out all the way to eat their lollipop chicken all the time. The only thing that sucks is they don't take credit cards and the decor could be a lot nicer but we're eaters so who cares cuz the food here is pretty damn amazing! Try the garlic shrimp and ask them to add pineapple. It's DELISH! Posted on May 18, 2010 |

★★☆☆☆ I like the fusion food but this place is not extraordinary. The wait is ridiculous, and the food is too oily. Posted on November 2, 2008 |

★★★★★ I went their for dinner tonight and it was amazing. Everyone was right on when they said you'd have to wait but thankfully the family who treated us kept the seats for 45 mins before we came. Lollipop chicken was great as well as the finger fish. They put alot of masala into the rice and noodles. Easily will sweat while eating lol but i give it a 4.5/5 because its very congested Posted on February 10, 2008 |

★★★★☆ Been a while but it was pretty good. A bit pricey and the place is tiny with so so decor, but the food is worth a try if at least once. Posted on September 1, 2007 |

★★★★★ Food is good. Great halal Chinese desi style. Posted on August 21, 2007 |

★★★★★ Salaam. this place is the BEST!!! when you're desi and keeping it halal, there's no better place to go. yes, the food is spicy (just tell the waiter to bring it down a notch when ordering) and not authentic Chinese. but the restaurant has "Masala" in its name! what did you expect?! appetizers are great - try thai soup, lollipop chicken, and shrimp pakora. main course - tangra masala fish & chicken are both good. singaporean/Hakka noodles delicious too! cons: tight seating, noisy, and looong wait so bring friends. it's well worth it! enjoy! =) Posted on December 18, 2006 |

★☆☆☆☆ This place is awful. I cant believe these people reviewed it so well. The staff was friendly, that being said the food is oily.....and bland....just adding spice does NOT add flavor to food.... I am fond of Indo-Pak style chinese food....and believe me this place is not GOOD...the chicken corn soup was stale, the "lollypop" chicken tasted like week old KFC and the Tangra Chicken was just God Awful. They need to use fresher ingredients and less oil. Posted on March 19, 2006 |

★★☆☆☆ have to agree w/ desiballa: doesn't taste really like chinese... has much more of a desi flavor to it.. kinda like salan (curry) has been dumped into *everything*. wasn't all that great.. (for authentic, non salan-y, halal chinese - hit up Green House in Manhattan - E 29th St. - instead!) Posted on September 20, 2005 |

★★★☆☆ this place has good food but not for an authentic chinese taste...though the food is filling and does taste good - it has more of a desi taste to it than most chinese restaurants Posted on August 21, 2005 |

★★★★★ I think everybody should try Chicken pakora and Thai Soup if u like lemon grass. There food is delicious but a bit spicy. If u don't have stamina for spicy food don't bother with the restaurant. Posted on December 20, 2004 |

★☆☆☆☆ The food had only Hot Pepper but no Taste at all. Had to wait for 2 hours. I would never go there again. Not worth taking a trip so far away. Posted on November 16, 2004 |

★★★☆☆ The place is kind of small and gets packed really fast on weekends. Appetizers and soup were excellet. But when it came to the main course, I was really dissapointed. They lacked flavor and taste. But overall still a decent place to eat if you want indian style chinese. Posted on July 11, 2003 |
