NR Very very tasty, good service, fresh, that kebabs are out of this world. The Chablee (flat ground beef spicy) Kebab reminded me of back home in Afghanistan. Will definitely be back, and will definitely send all our friends and family. Posted on October 28, 2018 |

★★★★★ Best chicken wings and mantu I've had in the area. Chapli was not cooked how i was used to, but not bad, and everything else has been great, especially chicken kabab and kofta. Would definitely recommend. Posted on December 6, 2017 |

★★★★★ Nice and clean place. Best afghan food in the area and even better service (fast and courteous for such a busy place). Tried chicken kabob and beef chapli and both were excellent. Great for both family and just to hang out with friends. Posted on February 4, 2017 |

★★★★★ Hard working family delivering great results! Posted on September 9, 2015 |

★★★★☆ I tried their Chapli Kababs and they were excellent. They don't have curries. Their Afghan tea was very good too. Posted on March 4, 2015 |

★★★★☆ UPDATE: I have been here several times now since the ownership has changed last year and feel it is unfair to keep my old rating. As such, I have amended my rating and review. The food became better! Service is still an area for improvement, however it no longer dominates the dining experience like it did before. Now it's simply great food with friendly service (that needs a little improvement). Based on the above, I must upgrade my rating and now recommend Pamir. Please go out and support. ★★★★★ Mashallah! This place is a gem. The family is very nice and the food is superb.
Our order consisted of:
Aush (Great flavor)
Bulanee (One of the best I've had!)
Chicken Kabob (Finally a restaurant that doesn't over grill the chicken)
This place deserves all the success they have going, you will be very happy eating here. Posted on March 2, 2014 |

★★★★★ Lunch today was great. Had the humus with bread and the chicken kabob. Very nice service by young man named Farzhad. Price was good but the food was great. Beautiful atmosphere and very clean. Would highly recommend. Posted on February 4, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ Family comes here a lot and recommends this place but this time it wasn't so good. I think all the guest walked in at the same time so good wasn't cooked well. Still recommend it better than the other afghan restaurants around it! Posted on April 28, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ I don't know who these people are giving great review for this restaurant. I went to this place after reading these reviews and was very disappointed. I liked the ambiance a but the food only looks like Afghani food not taste like one. Too much mix of strange spices. This is definitely not a typical great afghani food we are used to in the Bay Area. I won't go to this place again. Posted on February 15, 2013 |

★★★★☆ Great food but a small place for amount of regular customers they have. Very crowded during lunch hour. Will recommend Posted on June 25, 2012 |

NR A very nice experience. We ordered
Pizza - good kids enjoyed it
Chicken nuggets - average
Combination kabob - good but on the dry side.
Quabli Pallaw w/ lamb - very good, meat was very tender.
Definitely a place I would go back too. Posted on April 11, 2012 |

★★★★★ Best. Afghan. food. EVER.
I've had Afghani food many times all over the bay but nowhere compares to the richness and fresh quality of Pamir. Their Bolani is simply amazing, it has potatoes and leeks with a perfect blend of spices that are neither too strong nor bland.
Their combination kabob was out of this world! The meat was tender and very flavorful. Best kabobs I've had in a very long time! Their Mantu was good, the chapli kabob was alright, probably wouldn't order that one again.
All in all, the restaurant has great ambiance and service! I went with my family and the waiter took good care of us making us feel right at home and made sure we were receiving an amazing overall experience. I'll definitely be coming back with family as well as friends! Posted on March 20, 2011 |

★★★★★ Excellent Afghan food, exceptionally good service, good value for money and very clean. I've had a lot of Afghan food in the Bay and this stands out. It's also the kind of place you could feel comfortable bringing Muslims or non-Muslims to (no discrimination either way), which is rare. Posted on June 8, 2010 |

★★★★★ I'll keep this short & simple ... u wont find a better restaurant in the bay area ... they allow u to pray on site ... imagine that & i just called to make a reservation but they did not pick up ... 30 seconds later they call back! ... never heard of a restaurant calling back for a missed call ... i'm sure they were making a reservation 4 some1 else ... excellent cs! last time i ate food there was great ... seemed like a classy restaurant ... i think they should get a bigger place b/c i can see this place becoming more popular! ★★★★★ The combination plate was excellent, cooked just right. The pesto pizza was excellent, the right amount of ingredients. Bolouni...give it a miss...the chiken wings...very expensive and over priced, but fantastic! We ordered in a large group, about 7 dishes, took over 40 minutes...but hey,it was fresh. Why are afghan restaurants so pricey???? Very nice people. Posted on March 6, 2010 |

★★★★★ Went here for dinner the other day. Had the Chapli Kabab burger which was excellent! Also tried the Shami Kabab and Chicken Pesto pizza. All were very good. Afghani tea was good. The service was fast and friendly. Family owned business. 100% Halal with No Alcohol served. Please support this place! Posted on February 8, 2010 |

★★★★★ Good food. Busy Place at lunch. Go with some extra time. They serve fast but you have to wait for the table.
Its under the escalator's so not easy to spot.
Chapli Kebab's are the best. Posted on February 4, 2010 |

★★★★☆ I went here two days ago with my family we enjoyed it. Its a great alternative when you are too lazy to cook and are in need to go out for a halal dinner. The customer service was great, and their food was good. I will be back there soon. Insha'Allah. Posted on January 26, 2010 |

★★★★★ This is not an exaggeration, this is currently the best halal restaurant in the Bay Area. First off, the family who cooks the food have been in the restaurant business for years so this is not a “new” thing for them… but it is a new experience for its patrons who can finally enjoy gourmet halal food, at very reasonable prices. The portions are more than adequate, they have amazing appetizers, succulent entrees, and their desserts are to die for. Lamb Kabob is my favorite… I have never eaten lamb that melted in my mouth like butter in the U.S., before this… fabulous. Five Stars Posted on January 21, 2010 |

★★★★★ very nice to have quality afghan food in the san ramon valley. everything here is great: all the kabobs, the pizzas, also the baked bolani. ask for the chopan which is not on the menu, its super tender. nice, clean place, great for families. Posted on December 19, 2009 |

★★★★★ Awesome food and great customer service. I've been here twice and the food is getting better and better as they adjust to customer preference. I haven't tried the wings or pizza yet but will soon. The Kababs are off the hook, and the chopan is extremely tendor and a must try. Posted on December 14, 2009 |

★★★★★ Been there a few times now and each time the food has been fantastic, the service warm and very friendly. Chapli Kababs are very good and melt in your mouth. They also have great pizzas (chicken pesto pizza.... yumm) although you have to ask for the menu with pizzas on it.
Another nice thing for those of you with kids is that they have a special kids menu (chicken nuggets with fries, pizza, etc.). Posted on December 13, 2009 |
