The staff of this restaurant has verbally confirmed halal status. From the management: 'All of our Chicken and Lamb Dishes including Chicken Souvlaki, Lamb Souvlaki, Roast Lamb, Rack of Lamb, Lamb Chops, Honey Glazed Chicken, Chicken Dijon, Kalamari, Chicken Linguini use Halal meat from South Seas Meats in Surrey BC. Our 7 oz filet, Beef and Chicken Burgers (with Bacon), Prime Rib (Sundays) and Chorizo Sausage do not come from a Halal Supplier. We use the same grill (not a flat top) to cook all of our Souvlakis, Steaks and Burgers although the grill is cleaned regularly (every 20 minutes) using a grill brush and a clean wet cloth and any residue is burnt off as the grill is on all day. The utensils are also washed throughout the day. We use one side of the grill for the Souvlakis and the opposite side for the bacon that goes on one of our Burgers. Besides our Burgers, Souvlakis and Steaks, all other dishes including our signature Roast Lamb, Vegetarian Spanakopita (Spinach Pies), Garlic Prawns or Kalamari are prepared in clean frying pans, deep fryer or in the oven.
