NR ***NOT HALAL.***
I called, they said its all halal and they buy from two locations, I called those two locations, one said they buy boneless lamb and goat with bones, nothing else. the other said, they dont buy anything from us. So brothers do not take risk going there. Posted on September 2, 2015 |

★☆☆☆☆ Rajdoot might serve halal menu but they serve very poor service. I served them honour by celebrating my son's first birthday in their establishment. But they served me with extremely poor service, outrageously high bill, and food that had neither quality nor quantity. When I made the reservation, I told them about the occasion and requested them to modestly decorate the reserved area of their establishment. When we got there, there wasn't even a single balloon hanging. NO ONE, not even the manager came to wish my son a happy birthday. This hurt me more than the almost $400 dollars they charged me for 8 adults and 4 children. My guests and I were very disappointed. Afterwards, I called the owner/manager and expressed my disappointment. I told him that this was the LAST time myself or anyone I know will ever spend a dime in his restaurant. It is for this reason I will NEVER suggest anyone to use this establishment for their special occasions.... Posted on December 5, 2004 |

★★★★★ Although there are no signs saying this resturant serves halal food, we were assured by a number of people in the resturant and quite a few friends that this resturant only has zabiha halal. Although there are a number of religious items on the wall from both Hinduism (picture of Hindu gods), Sikhism (picture of Guru Nanak) and Islamic (pictures of Allah swt names and Kalima). Maybe because it has more than one owner, or maybe for decoration I dont know, but we asked a lot of muslim friends and the staff there and they all gave assurance about authenticity of Halal meat.
Food is excellent, we tried various chicken dishes, the quantity is pretty nice, although it is a little on the expensive side. Dinner for 3 cost us $110 including tax and tip, but we also ordered a lot of food. They have a dinner for four special for $130 plus tax and that has quite a few items from their menu. Plus they also have a buffet dinner on weekends (didnt go but the waiter told us that there are quite a few items in the buffet). Definately recommend this place for special occasions and if you try the buffet, then let the rest know how it was. Posted on June 1, 2004 |
