★★★★☆ I had heard good things about this place and finally decided to give it a try last weekend with friends. The Behari Kabab were simply outstanding and the chicken seekh kabab were top notch as well. I believe this is the only place to sell Behari Kabab and they did not disappoint. The naans were fresh, the other curry items were a little better than average. The only complain I have is the difference in prices for some items for takeout or dine in, and therefore falls short of 5 stars. Feels like we were penalized for dining in. Posted on April 12, 2016

I hear some people complain about , Bahari kabab (too dry) but I guess we were lucky, actually we are bahari from karahci we never had test like that. Personally we recommend that please try Bahari Kabab Steak was pretty good. I'd asked it to be well done and it wasn't dry. I also can't complain about the size of the meal. For Friday night the place was not too crowded (which I liked) and we ordered special foods( chicken charga,mutton karahi and Biryani) and service was quick- Overall value is great. ★★★★★ we dine here all the time and have always been impressed with both the food and service. The rack of lamb is the best I've tried in the city. My wife loves the Seek kabab. The prices for the food and Kashmiri tea are reasonable and they always have creative features. I haven't tried one yet but I think one of these days I'll have to. Please try Bahari kabab and seek kabab...SUBHAANALLAH very good test. In winter my car was stuck b/c of snow and owner he boost my car--he is really nice and helpful guy. ★☆☆☆☆ I was used to dine at Calgary Hot Plate daily. After realizing that the most of staff is Non-Muslim, I made a decision to ask this question to the owner. I asked him Do they really serving HALAL meat? He answered me: I cannot prove it physically, but I can provide you the meat supplier contact. Next day I called that supplier and was shocked supplier told me that Calgary Hot plate is not buy any meat from us for a while ago after relocating. They think that we are selling it at high price!!!!! Now I went back to owner and discuss this with him and he answered after some argument that “we don’t care if you are not dining here” Now I have two questions for myself - Was that food HALAL which I ate from Calgary Hot plate? Is Calgary Hot plate is serving Halal meat? After this incident I am NOT going to any Desi restaurant and cooking at home. If don’t have any option I will get a Fish flay burger without cheese from McDonalds. Posted on May 19, 2012

I have been to the restaurant several times and have ordered different entrees that were excellent all the way through. The customer service is also excellent. The prices are also very reasonable.
