NR Regarding the previous comment, Shams Halal Meats is a legitimate halal meat supplier in BC. It is one of the biggest and best known as well.

★★★☆☆ There was no Halal certificate on the premises but the (oriental) lady at the cashier claimed her Fiance, the owner, was a Muslim and bought meat from 'Shams', which I knew nothing about. The environment is very clean though. I ordered vegetarian to be on the safe side, which turned out amazing in taste and presentation. Posted on August 11, 2016
