HALAL SUMMARY
A halal sign is clearly visible on the premises of this market.
★★★☆☆ Nice store with a lot of options, but I think you can find cheaper on the same block. They do carry some items that others don't though. Posted on September 12, 2013
★★★★☆ This store has a great selection of pretty much any Middle Eastern food you could imagine. I haven't purchased anything from the meat counter, but there were plenty of people buying from there, and it looked clean. Upstairs is where books and clothing are sold, including the best selection of al-Amira hijabs I have seen anywhere. The whole store is crowded with very little room to move around (bad for people in wheelchairs or pushing strollers). Posted on December 22, 2012
★★☆☆☆ They have a good assortment of Egyptian/Middle eastern foods and fresh halal meat. They also sell a wide variety of incense, scented oils, sajdas, clothing, hijabs, and books. The clothing/books/hijabs etc are upstairs. It is a popular place, however their prices are needlessly high for my taste. Their dried fruit/candies/nuts are especially overpriced as you can find the exact same thing in any other halal store for a cheaper price. They do carry sporadically american items such as pepperoni, sausages, etc.. Their customer service if you are an american sister is outrageous and would therefor not recommend this place.
