★★★☆☆ I was told the chicken was halal and not the other meat or was it the other way around? Either way, there aren't too many meat dishes on the lunch buffet menu. The food was good but I would go here again if they had a better price. It was almost $15 for the lunch buffet with drink and $2 tip. There are other halal options in town which serve all halal meat. ★☆☆☆☆ I think someone has to change the picture posted because this place is NOT halal. They do have many tasty vegetarian items however such as palak paneer. But as strictly zabihah i would rate this place very poor only because it is not halal. They only have one halal dish. Posted on August 25, 2010

★★★☆☆ I went to Bombay Bistro several months ago. Unless things have changed, this restaurant has only one halal item on the menu. The food was average, and the restaurant is pretty pricey considering its in a strip mall next to HEB. Posted on February 14, 2007
