The USA Halal Chamber of Commerce is an Islamic certification and compliance, regulatory authority concerned with the preparation of Halal meats, food, drinks and cosmetics. Specifically, ISWA HALAL CERTIFICATION shall ensure that all Halal products inspected will bear a stamp guaranteeing (certifying) that the said commodities have passed the rigorous standards of the Islamic Law.
The problem regarding the verification of HaIal products in the United States is of major concern to Muslims living in this country. This concern also extends to those countries importing Halal meat from companies in America. This situation has resulted in many inquiries directed to the ISWA HALAL CERTIFICATION from religious organizations and business entities within the United States and throughout the world, expressing their concerns about so-called Halal products exports from the United States.
As a result, the ISWA HALAL CERTIFICATION has established standards to regulate the preparation of Halal products in North America. ISWA HALAL CERTIFICATION supervises the methods for inspection of the slaughter, processing facilities and the issuance of Halal Certification both for domestic and international consignments to ensure that the products bearing the ISWA HALAL CERTIFICATION's stamp or seal is in fact, certified Halal.
