★★★★★ It's like eating lunch and dinner at the most expensive restaurant - except you're 30,000 feet in the air.
And this is in economy (coral) class.
Well portioned, delicious and plenty of choice. 2 Meals + Breakfast/Snacks on Longhaul flights + Refreshments.
Full meal and refreshments on short haul.
I really wish they did not serve ALCOHOL. Posted on May 18, 2011 |

★★★★★ Great food. Always has two menu choices for economy. Each meal had roll, salad, appetizer, entree, dessert, and cheese w/ cracker. They also gave a snack between meals. Posted on August 19, 2010 |

★★★★★ Outstanding arline. I have traveled with atleast 10 different airlines and Etihad has been so far one the best. I have flown Etihad on couple of different occasions and the service is just absolutely fantastic, food is delicious which also they have 2 - 3 options to choose from and the plane is always clean and fresh (including the bathroom). No complains at all. Posted on July 24, 2010 |

★★★★★ I've flown Etihad 4 times and each time I have flown them, their food has been excellent as has been their service. No wonder they won the Best Airline of 2009 Award. Posted on December 9, 2009 |

★★★★★ Great airline. I love their service. Better than any airline in the world. If I wasn't a price hound and so conscious about my travel dates, I would always fly them.
NOTE: With UAE based airlines, EMIRATES, ETIHAD, AIR ARABIA, etc. you do not need to worry about the food not being Halaal.
All these airlines serve 100% Zabihah Halal meat on all their flights around the world. Posted on February 24, 2009 |

★★★★☆ i have traveled with Etihad a few times, with varying degrees of services, i certainly think they are above average, i mostly travel Toronto - Abu Dhabi - Bangkok or Toronto - Abu Dhabi - Lahore (Once economy, rest of the times business class), their long haul flight to Abu Dhabi has mostly been excellent, good food through out the flight, with an "any time" menu as well, in which all meal are freshly prepared. their service has almost always been good as well, except once when i met a rude staff, but that was only once of course. in my last trip, BKK -AUD -YYZ in both flights the head of cabin crew staff personally visited me to make sure that i was doing ok and if there was any thing i needed - that was impressive, how ever not to forget that all of this is business class service not economy. i dont recall how the economy flight was, but i couldnt have been very bad otherwise i wouldnt fly with them again.
the negative part though, even though their website says that you can claim the air rewards upto 3 months after you register with them, despite my numerous efforts i have been unable to get them to add my air rewards so far, (total amount should be equivalent to $200 USD ) Posted on December 22, 2008 |
