If you are looking out for a no frills Indian restaurant serving good food then this is the place. We had travelled from Dubai to Edinburgh on a family trip & as it always happens after a few days into the trip we’re in the look out for a good Indian restaurant. We then decided to give Guru a try. Pleasantly surprised with the food quality & the portions. Both were great the quality & quantity. Ambience could be done better but who cares when the food is great. We got the mix platter, highly recommended. Surprised by the size of Naan & samosas, maybe this giant size is normal in this part of the world. Anyways if in Edinburgh & you need good Indian food then do not give this place a miss.
