About Jasmine Market & Café

I, Salman Nameer, the current owner, along with my family from Palestine, have over 15 years of experience in the restaurant industry. My brother, and I, combine our knowledge and passion to bring the flavor of Palestine to Dallas. We repurpose our homemade, traditional family recipes to create a one-of-a-kind menu that is both healthy and flavorful. Our specialty is Shewarma, a meat preparation, where lamb, chicken, turkey, beef, veal, or mixed meats are placed on a vertical spit, which may be grilled for as long as a day. Mediterranean cuisine includes plenty of fresh vegetables and dishes specially made to order. Our promise to you is that you will be served a complete, healthy, tasty meal at our caf.

The food is decent but prices are on the high side. This is really just a hookah joint.

Manager very clearly said that the meet is NOT Halal/Zabihah. We asked him to repeat that so we could save the info. And he did so we have it recorded on our phones..

The place seem to be surrounded by other muslim restaurants. The restaurant was decent. When we went it was empty with us and another couple. That did not bother us because the food prep was quick and the food was quite tasty. The price was reasonable. We would go back.

Nobody, I repeat, Nobody can beat their chicken shawarma. I have tried at many diff places but was alway disappointed. If you really want to have a good chicken shawarma, a visit to this place is a MUST.

Best Shawarma's in town - ask them to make it spicy and juicy. The platters are good, but places like Taboon will get you a better platter. The crowd at night on weekends is not as family oriented as many come to smoke hookah/sheesha and just hang out. The restaraunt side of it has more families and is more family friendly during the afternoon hours. The tea is also really good. Probably the best place in town for sheesha/hookah and just to hang out. Tends to attract a lot of highschool/college kids from all over the metroplex. Parking can be troubling during the peak times. And when it's busy, the waitstaff also get busy if you aren't sitting in the restaraunt part....... Food is definately good though.
