We finally visited Little Alley Steak after my girlfriend had wanted to go for years for her birthday. The food was very good. I ordered the dry-aged ribeye with bone marrow butter, and my girlfriend had the filet. Her filet was incredibly tender and buttery, even though it came out a little on the rare side. The mashed potatoes and mac and cheese were both excellent sides. The biggest downside for us was the atmosphere. The dining room was extremely loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. For a special occasion dinner, we were hoping for a more intimate experience. Service was good, and we appreciated that there was no credit card surcharge added to the bill. However, with the total approaching $300 for two people, expectations are naturally very high. While the food was good, we didn’t feel the overall experience matched the price point. I’m glad we finally tried it and checked it off the list, but for our personal preferences, atmosphere and value matter just as much as the food.
