★★★★★ The most authentic Yemeni food you'll find. The lamb is always extremely tender and juicy. The Greek fish is crispy from the outside and buttery inside, a must try. The Yemeni tea with milk is excellent as well. Posted on August 28, 2018 |

★★★★★ Finally a "halaal" restaurant that doesn't have music playing or TV on! Alhamdulillah. And the staff actually greets you with salaams too. And the food is outstanding alhamdulillah the lamb particularly is very tender and juicy, much better than other halaal places that I'm used to. My brother in law brought some home and we knew we had to go check it out in person. Very tasty ma sha Allah.
My only complaint is that recently they've hired non-hijabi waitresses, which is inappropriate for a Muslim establishment. Posted on February 18, 2018 |

★★★★★ ????? ???? this is probably one of the greatest restaurants in this neighborhood. They serve amazing Yemeni cuisine along with other American options for those who aren't used to eating Arabic food. Can be very busy on Fridays and late at night. Posted on August 17, 2016 |

NR Authentic Yemeni dining experience, including shared platters and sitting on rugs if you choose. Courteous, smiley staffers brings dishes out quickly. You'll also hear plenty of Arabic with plenty of locals dropping in. The restaurant is clean (spotless separate bathrooms), well-lit, and within walking distance of the Muslim Community Center.
We enjoyed tender lamb (khabsa), egg appetizer, the lamb stew, and teas. Everything was hot, full of complex flavors, colorful & fresh. We'll certainly return, and encourage you to visit as well.

★★★★☆ Food was really tasty, and the service was great. I highly recommend the fasuliya as as a starter and the tea with milk. Appetizer portions are big enough to be shared. Posted on May 26, 2014 |

★★★★★ This is the BEST Yemeni food in the United States. The Haneeth and Mandi are excellent. They are just getting started so I didn't expect the best of service. The staff is friendly and tried it's best. Street parking is all I could find. They have a prayer area next door. All locals dining there so you know it is good. I definitely plan on returning and letting my friends know. Posted on November 16, 2013 |

NR The best food I ever eat. Their lamb meat is very tender. My friends since we eat their last time they want to go back almost every day because they said it reminded them of their grandmothers food Lool . But really it does. They also have pick your own fish and they'll bake it for you the yemeni style soooo delicious. They just opened up. The cook before you leave he will come out and ask you how was the service and the food very nice people. In the begin I thought i was been ignored but they just open up and they just hired the waitress before the cook him self comes and takes your order. Posted on November 11, 2013 |

NR Can't rate the food. I walked in and looked at the menu for five minutes and was totally ignored. It might not be so welcoming to outsiders. Posted on November 2, 2013 |

★★★★★ A brand new spot that a few brothers from the local Yemeni community just opened up.
FOOD: Authentic Yemeni food, including amazing seasoned chicken, meat, fish, and rice or Yemeni bread. The chai is awesome. If you're looking to try Yemeni food or even a new Arab spot, this is it.
The meat it zabihah halal as confirmed by the owners who are well known in our community. They're upright people who don't blatantly sin and they pray in the masjid regularly.
SERVICE: The staff/owners are very friendly and warm, the Yemeni hospitality definitely shines through. They make sure you have everything you need and will gladly serve you. Food comes fast. Just know they opened like last week so they're still adjusting, but it's still extremely well run.
THE SPOT: The decor is very simple and visually pleasing. It has a nice restaurant look to it. They're in the process of opening up a family section downstairs where families can eat in a private booth, ideal for niqabis and the like.
Oh, and there's a masjid literally next door so you can pray at your convenience. Posted on October 6, 2013 |
