★★★★☆ I went for lunch there and ordered chicken soup and a kabob plater/combo. Soup was ok, but kabobs were really great. Posted on December 8, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ Unfortunately, my first visit was not very good. It took forver for somebody to come to our table after were seated and received the menus. We ordered two appetizers, the Tabbouli and the Dolmas. The Tabbouli was alright, but the dolmas were four little rolls with giant dollup of yogurt. The rice was not done right and the menu said it was stuffed with pinenuts, but they instead used almonds. I ordered the mixed grille platter. The rice and bulgar wheat pilaf were luke-warm. The grilled meats were very good.
I am not sure I would come back again. As I did not really like the service. I had to get up twice to ask for things, as nobody came to the table and place was not that full. Posted on August 17, 2009 |

★★★★☆ Went here for lunch..........the place is very nicely decorated and has a great setting. Service was excellent. Was not impressed with the fact that they serve alcohol. Also, keep in mind this place is very pricey, as the place is very classy. Posted on July 26, 2009 |

★★★★★ I went to this place with my friends. I found both food and service as excellent. I have planned to go there couple of times again but did not get a chance but is definitely on top of my list. We ordered many things and they all were good. There was one dish which was beef kababs (kind of Kefta Kabab) which were awesome! The environment and location is also great. I highly recommend this place. Posted on October 27, 2008 |

★★★★☆ The food is quite good, their lamb kofte and doner were especially good. Just be aware that on Wednesday nights, there is a belly dancer. Otherwise, setting, food and service were above average. Posted on December 4, 2007 |

★★★★☆ Wow, this is a great middle eastern restaurant, they even serve Shawarmas here at lunch! I loved the food here, it tasted like we were in Turkey or something. I also love the service, the waiters are always friendly, attentive, and enthusiastic. I think the prices are a bit expensive, and despite the plates being large, the quantity of food in them could be a bit better. I mean, the amount of food is great compared to many other places, but the prices here are much much higher, so you would expect there to be more food. Other than that, it's an awesome place to eat. The atmosphere is sophisticated, the decor is very chic, and the overall experience is very good. Great place to celebrate any occasion! Posted on October 17, 2007 |

★★★★★ This is a great choice of restaurants if you're looking for Mediterranean food with a posh looking interior. My family loved everything about it. We and the kids enjoyed the food, loved the atmosphere, it was great. Try it out! Posted on October 17, 2007 |

★★★★★ I have lived in the Middle East my entire life, and after moving here, Cafe Artemis has been the ONLY middle-eastern restaurant that has been up to my and my family's extremely high taste standards. We felt like the food tasted authentic, and it was healthy too! The atmosphere is great, clean and definitely classy. As for the comment below about serving alcohol and halal together, I find it highly inaccurate as the cooks at cafe artemis do not cook their food with the alcohol. Instead of nitpicking I think we should all be supporting restuarents like these with a full halal menu. I have younger sisters, and my parents were more than happy to take us to a 100% halal restaurant like this one. So quite contrarily, cafe artemis is very family friendly, and the best middle-eastern halal this side of the atlantic!!! Posted on February 14, 2007 |

★★★☆☆ According to the owner, they serve only Halal meat certified by Universal Food Experts located in Hayward, CA. I went here for lunch today. The place is very nicely decorated and does have a "classy" feel, although I agree with Halaalgrubber that they do serve alcohol, which is not good. The mint soup was good. The Beef-lamb gyro was okay. My friend who went to lunch with me (He is Vietnamese) said the meat does not taste as flavorful as other Middle-Eastern places he has been. I agree with him, maybe because Im use to eating the spicy Pakistani style food all the time. I also found the prices a bit on the high side, yet still reasonable. Posted on December 28, 2006 |

★★★★★ Finally a clean mediterranean restaurant with excellent quality dishes. Very light (not heavyily oiled), the vegitables are extremely fresh and the meat is excellent quality tender and delicious. This is a great place to take people from out of town or family. It is very big with seating outside as well. It is the classiest Halal restaurant in which I have ever eaten. GO!!! Posted on November 6, 2006 |
