HALAL SUMMARY
The staff of this restaurant has verbally confirmed halal status. From the managers: 'We see all halal meat from Washington Lamb. All the items are Halal.'
★☆☆☆☆ I am not sure if these Indian restaurants are serving Zabihah halal meat. When I called Rangoli they said they got their meat from Washington Lamb whose owner had been charged with selling non zabihah halal meat as zabihah halal. So not sure about their zabihah halal authenticity. Posted on December 17, 2014
ADMIN RESPONSE
Midamar is the company you are referring to: http://www.grubstreet.com/2014/12/midamar-corporation-halal-fraud-charges.html
NR I have eaten at Rangoli twice, there are idols all over the restaurant. The place is obviously run by people of the Hindu faith. Seriously doubtful if their food is zabihah halal which is why I will not go back. Posted on January 31, 2013
ADMIN RESPONSE
The owners have confirmed that all their meat is Halal and have also provided the source.
★★☆☆☆ I have heard from a friend that this restaurant is not HALAL they only use HALAL spices that's why when you ask them they say it's HALAL. This is not HALAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Posted on July 11, 2012
