HALAL SUMMARY
Zabiha Halal Slaughter Assoc for the State of LA has certified this establishment as offering one or more halal options. Only this outlet of Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken is reported to be halal. From the management: 'We are selling 100% halal chicken in our restaurant'
★★★☆☆ I had heard the fried chicken here was very fresh so I gave it a try. We picked up our ordered at around 9pm and it was drenched in bad grease. It was over battered and the taste was definitely not that great. The meat inside was average and nothing to write home about. I am assuming the oil they used was just old and over used. Don't ever get chicken from here late. Posted on September 25, 2015
★★★★☆ Chicken is better then other local halal chains because of the Cajun spices that are added to the batter. The catfish is made fresh to order takes roughly about 7 minutes and is a must try with their Louisiana sauce. We had the big deal which was 8 piece chicken 4 fish 4 rolls and 8 shrimp and one large side for 19.99 Amazing deal! Personally I did not like the rolls but for the side we got jambalaya rice which was really good! I have also heard the wings were really good from other Americans that have eaten there. Overall a must try if your near by they have many options on their menu. I have been there about 4 times already and well definitely go back. Posted on December 14, 2014
