★★★☆☆ ● Pretentious atmosphere ● Clientele often includes loud, mouthy, debutante types ● Access the restaurant by passing thru a gauntlet of Hookah smokers on the patio ● Parking? What? Where?!? ● Food is Iranian inspired ● Portions have been shrinking ● Posted on December 1, 2015 |

NR Great location, Iranian restaurant, not good for families because it looks like a hookah bar.
Food taste is moderate but not the best.
If you are with your friends and don't have other choice come here, otherwise go somewhere else. Posted on November 8, 2015 |

★★★★★ Probably one of the best Kabob places in DMV area. It's Iranian style, meaning very different than the other popular afghan places around. We tried kubideh 5/5, chicken 5/5 and beef 4/5(little dry). We especially loved the kubideh.
Probably not ideal to take kids, since it's also a very popular hookah/sheesha place. Posted on October 29, 2011 |

★★★★★ Been here twice for food and hookah. First: This is NOT an Afghan restaurant. This is all Persian people and food. I repeat, most people are Persian here, Persian music is played, and Persian food is served. Food was definitely very good. If you get the entrees, they are very large (kabob, rice, bread, stew, salad). Sandwiches are relatively large as well. Pricing for the entrees is $10-$15 depending on the kabob which is decent for 2 am munchies with hookah! Hookah was above average, not burnt, didn't taste like double apple (if you get another flavor). Coal and hose tips are inside for anyone to pick up. No alcohol is a good sign: it gets very loud, but it's all under control. Posted on July 18, 2011 |

★★★★☆ I used to love going here, but halal signs are not posted. Rice is nice and buttery, a good persian style kabob, don't expect any curries or garam masalas here. The prices are lower here than surrounding kabab joints, I only had one bad experience when I took my kabob all the way back to work and the rice wasn't buttered and didn't look like basmati. ★★★★☆ Went here for dinner with a group of four people. The kubideh and chicken kababs were very tasty--I just wished they had their own homemade hot sauce rather than have bottles of Tabasco at every table. The owner assured us that everything was halal. The kubideh and chicken kabab platters come with rice, salad and naan. They say the food is Afghani, however it's really more like Iranian or Persian food. Seating is kinda limited. They also have a section contiguously located to the restaurant reserved for hookah; which is open til 4am on the weekends. This place is a few blocks from the Tyson's mall. I recommend this place and I will return. Posted on November 7, 2010 |

★★★★☆ I use to go to this place a lot, now I am not sure if they use zabiha meat products. I hope the owner confirms this. Posted on March 15, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ decent, had the chicken kabob platter and the sandwich. both were average. the dolmas (grape leaves) were a bit below average. Good place to go if you're in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to go for lunch or dinner. Posted on December 23, 2009 |

★★★★★ I just went there for the first time today. My friend and I both ordered Koobideh Kabob. It was awsome. It's better in quantity than another kabob place I usually go to eat. Sad thing is I didn't find any chickpeas. But I loved the lentil soup. Posted on August 12, 2009 |

★★☆☆☆ I think the food is steadily going downhill here. Had the lamb/beef "shawarma" and all I got was dry, salty thick pieces of gyro meat (what you would get in a greek restaurant but worse). It's been okay in the past though. Posted on August 25, 2006 |
