★★★★☆ Penang has excellent food, and is different enough from the usual halal tastes to drive out to. The decor is clean and tasteful, and food is prepared fresh. Service could be faster, but they do a good job tending to your needs. We hosted a party here and were satisfied with the service, pricing, quality, and selections. ★★★☆☆ I have not tried it and believe me I want to, but things to keep in mind: 1) they serve pork ( I called and asked it they use the same oil and they said no, but sounded kinda shady)- the thai muslim owner of a thai restaurant in NYC told me that almost 99% of thai restaurants fry in the same oil as pork b/c it makes it taste better. 2) no where on the website does it say halal 3) they prepare some dishes with wine as on their website.
