★★★☆☆ Owner is really friendly. Food we tried was some Iranian version of Biryani. It was owner's recommendation. Food seemed average but it was on Pricey side. Posted on September 19, 2014
★★★★☆ The food here is excellent though prices are steep. The rice they serve is the best that I've had in Boston; truly good rice. However, the atmosphere leaves something to be desired. It looks like a diner and you pick your food up at the counter. Posted on July 9, 2009
★★☆☆☆ Friendly owners but the food is on the expensive side and below average in taste. Lamb shank was bland and the rice was under cooked. Posted on December 24, 2007
★★☆☆☆ As mentioned by other people...its on the expensive side. I just had the Chicken sandwitch with salad, so I'll only comment on that - It was very ordinary. Posted on May 3, 2007
★★★★★ Very good (tasty) fresh food. Chicken and Lamb is halal, owner said can't find good halal beef supplier. We had a meal before the symphony (a block away). We'd say pricey but we're used to Berkeley CA. Posted on July 3, 2005
★★★☆☆ Has partial halal menu. As per staff beef not halal. Verbally reassured by staff who was muslim. Food and presentation good. Clean and friendly atmosphere. Before leaving saw the cook using the same utensils to adjust and cut chicken cutlets and beef kabobs. If one has to kept a partial halal menu, then there should be more strict emphasis on assuring that the utensils for halal and non halal food do not mix!!! Take cash only. Posted on June 6, 2004
★★★★☆ Only Chicken and Lamb at this restaurant is Halal. This is run by an Iranian brother. Chicken Kakab with rice is excellent. Chicken sandwitch is good. Close to Boston Convention center and Northeast University. Posted on August 30, 2002
