★★★☆☆ Went there couple of weeks ago primarily for Salah at the Musallah in the basement. I was hungry so figured might as well eat here. They had quite a few items, I saw him serving lamb/goat biryani out of a huge pot, typical like any other place, they load it up with tons of rice but hardly any meat. I opted for plain white rice and daal and a quarter piece of chicken $8!! had the Bangladeshi gulab jamoon which was ok, nothing to write home about, the chai was ok too. Posted on April 8, 2015
★☆☆☆☆ I went there to get some biryani but came back empty handed and disappointed. Their pricing model is just absurd. If your order is "to go" they charge you $9.99 ... but if you order to eat in ... the price is $6.00 ... why should I pay more for a carry out order? Are they making up cost for the plastic box and a bag? Ridiculous !! Posted on January 20, 2013
★☆☆☆☆ I have been here 3 times when i was in college and lived in downtown, and i was charged different prices all three times. a few months ago, i witnessed three guys from behind the counter scold a nice guy out of the restaurant because he refused to pay higher prices from his previous visit. food is tasty, but i will not return. ★★★☆☆ They are extremely friendly here and the food is great if your stomach can handle the spiciness. Its very oily and its a cabbie joint but the people who work there always seem happy. Not a place to bring for a dinner-date. Posted on October 18, 2011
★★★★☆ This is a nice place for a quick dinner or lunch. Located at a convenient location and there is another middle eastern halal restaurant and Dominick`s right next to this place too. I liked there nihari, tandoori chicken, chana daal. Biryani, veggie samosa and chargha were okay. Naan is huge and tasty!. Overall good place.
