HALAL SUMMARY
The owners of this restaurant are Muslim and have confirmed its halal status.
★★★★★ A wonderful place!
Portions are huge, taste is awesome, and basically it's the best place I've seen in NY for Halal food.
The only catch is their cooking style is not very healthy or diet-friendly. Lots of oil on the stews. Also they had better not burn the kabobs. But overall they're very generous with the portions and they offer great quality food. Posted on December 27, 2013
★★★★☆ I was tempted to go here due to the owners being Muslim. I had the mafe yap--basically, chunks of lamb on the bone with a thick sauce. The meat was really tender--I was told they use meat from young lamb :) Fun experience!! Posted on May 18, 2004
