★★☆☆☆ The dining area is rather small but well decorated, clean and ambient. Presentation was certainly way better then most indian resturants I have been to. Food was quite nice in taste - not the best I have had, but no complains when it comes to taste (could have been a bit more spicy however). This is where the good part ends. The serving size were extremely small in my view - and certainly not in proportion with the price (4 thi pieces of kabab, each 2.5 inch long were $8 in total, while biryani was $13 but only enough serving for one).
The other thing made the experience quite poor was the service - the waiters were very very slow in service and seemed a bit lost and un-interested in what they were doing. There was a 5+ min gap betwen when the kabab were served and when plates were provided, and then another 2-3 mins before nan were made available. Even the bill took ~10 mins after having asked for it twice.
In summary, good food, nice environment, poor service, and over-priced. Posted on June 9, 2008 |
