We had a group dinner while visiting for a conference meeting. Although, it is a small sized restaurant, it felt cozy with a nice Arabic music in the background and was very clean. We tried different dishes as a group and liked everything. Amazing experience and excellent food. Very kind and friendly staff. Food was so fresh and well cooked to perfection. "Papa Ghanooj" appetizer dish was one of the best I ever had. Every dish were nicely done and tasted like home cook. The "Oozi" dish (spiced rice with Beef meat) was perfect. We had green tea and Baklavas for desert. We really enjoyed the experience and would love to come back again. Posted on September 8, 2013 |

ββββ Went there during the afternoon so perhaps they weren't prepared. Terrible half cooked lamb, dry kebabs and burnt chips for which we paid β¬37 for 2. Posted on October 5, 2013 |

Was visiting Barcelona with 2 friends and had read great reviews of Omeia. It was easy to find, not far from the Pg de Gracia main shopping fare. When we got there was pretty quiet which worried us a little given it was a saturday night. The owner was very friendly and explained the menu. He was also happy to exchange items on the menu (e.g. lamb for chicken). Two of us had grilled chicken (Shish Taouk), one of us had more of a tagine style chicken. The meat quality was excellent, the taste was really nice. Really well done simple food. We had hommous and kibbeh (lamb mince in bulgur wheat) to start which was excellent. Hommous was very fresh and home made. Posted on January 13, 2013 |

The restaurant was clean and cosy. The owner was also very friendly. The menu was totally in Spanish so he had patiently answered all of our questions and explained how it was prepared. He also offered to change the meat if I wanted another dish (which was originally with lamb) to meat since I can't take lamb. I had this couscous with beef and my husband had 3 sticks of meat (lamb, beef and chicken) with some arabic bread and salsa. Both were delicious and fresh. Filling, delicious, couldn't ask for more. It's also halal. Posted on August 10, 2011 |

I had the chance to dine at Omeia Restaurant. The food is really amazing, very tasty and extraordinary fresh. The staff is very friendly and very attentive. This is a wonderful place to enjoy delicious Halal lebanese or moroccan cuisine while you are in Barcelona. ANd it's just a few steps from the Ramblas . I recommend Omeia without hesitation.
