★★★★☆ UPDATE (2017-10-12): We went back to the restaurant a couple of times again. Like I said in my previous review, I really wanted to give this place another go since their menu is awesome. I have increased by rating back to 4 now since 2 out three times, we did get very delicious food! Their payas (which is a hard dish to make) was cooked to perfection! The broth was delicious. We also tried their BBQ items and they were pretty good too! Loved the chapli kebab! Biryani was okay. I still stand by my comments on cleanliness though.
-------------
We looked up this restaurant over at the zabihah website and since their menu looked pretty promising, we decided to go eat here. The restaurant was pretty dirty. Wires were hanging from the ceiling and the floors were not properly mopped or cleaned. The food we got was pretty bad as well. The biryani was burnt. The saag felt like it was reheated and not made fresh. I will probably try this restaurant again because they have a very good menu and I do believe sometimes mishaps happen, but my first impression of this restaurant was not good. ★★★★★ Authentic Pakistani breakfast of payee, channe halwa puri. Really loved it. Posted on September 17, 2017 |

★☆☆☆☆ We ordered a regular lassi and mango lassi. When we got it, the lassi was warm and had given us in a small cup. It taste like the owner just put sugar into milk. We expected it to be cold not warm. Also the restaurant was really dirty. Posted on July 25, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ Search for halal Resturant and fund this one with good ratings.
They cooked fresh, not a ready made items, use orgaxsanic items.
Saag and makai ki rooti is their speciality.
We asked for it but they were already booked with pre orders. But still have arranged the saag for the taste, original Pakistani style saag.
Naan was fresh from the clay oven. Order chicken and beef seeks Kabab and they taste good. Butter chicken is good, not that much as I was expecting.
Kids have burgers with fries.
Service is great and hospitality is awesome, introduce him that we came from Toronto and they offered free drinks and water to us. Posted on August 19, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ We ordered boneless chicken handi, tandoori chicken and dall .
To be honest ,we were disappointed from this place , food not only had any taste but also the quality of chicken meat was not good.
We will not ever go to this place and neither will recommend . Posted on December 30, 2012 |

★★★★★ We are visiting from Toronto. We searched for this place from the Zabihah iPhone app. I would highly recommend this place. We had Chicken Biryani, Nehari and Shami kababs and they were all excellent. We found the customer service to be excellent as well. No hesitation in recommending this place at all. ★★★★★ I have been to this place few times now, and I tell you very good taste for Pakistani style food. I am not a big fan of butter chicken, but their's is little different and very tasty, they char the chicken first. Also their chicken and mutton karahi is pretty good. Nihari and faloda is just ok. ★★★★☆ Me and my wife went there for their Saturday brunch as we were visiting Chicago. We were greeted by the nicest person upon entrance.
The food was great, their chicken soup was awesome as well as their Halwa puri and paya.
A definite must visit place if you're in Chicago. Posted on October 16, 2012 |

★★★★★ Best food in town ... I hv been to regular Devon Restaurants in and near Chicago but the food quality here is outstanding ... Great Pakistani taste Posted on May 8, 2012 |

★★★★☆ I would have rated it excellent mainly because it's like the ONLY desi place open at 10am Sunday! We can have a true halwa/puri breakfast instead of it as lunch! The puri's were awesome. Halwa, ok, and bhaji was alright. Wife liked it, i was indifferent. Oh, we definitely do takeout because it's hard to eat out with kids. I would recommend FRESH OJ. It would have made the meal perfect. Plus an omellete! That would be perfect!!!
Just tried their goasht biryani last week at masjid event....AMAZING! Sooo good that we ordered pickup later, and it was massive! Plenty of goasht or all the uncle appetites ;) Posted on April 28, 2012 |

★★★★★ What a perfect place to eat the best Pakistani dishes with comfortable place to sit. The way they present every thing was so Pakistani. Every thing taste perfect and warm (they need to reduce chili in seekh Kabab). Very clean and comfy chairs. Staff was so attentive and nice. Posted on March 31, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ We have ordered take out from here many times when we have a parties at our house. We have tried their samosas, chapli kababs, and bihari kababs. I'm actually impressed by how good their food tastes!!
What I'm really disappointed about is that one time we went to dine in at their place and the place was packed (actually a family of 15 were dining there) and no one was at the front to seat us. We literally waited for 15 minutes by the door and then left. There was a little girl sitting near the kitchen who saw us and didn't tell anyone in the kitchen, we heard noises. They do need to improve on their staff, maybe hire more people because that is simply unacceptable. Posted on February 17, 2012 |

★★★★★ Amazing food , Amazing service .. They could take a little longer to get the food ready but definetly worth the wait .. Walking in you dont expect it to be such a nice clean place ..but very nice and clean atmosphere ....
They could however tone down the spice level a little bit as it has increased overtime !!! Price is just about right for the amount of food they give you . Also good for catering !
Definetly the best pakistani resturant in chicago land area .. better than Deon if you ask me ! Posted on February 7, 2012 |

★★★★☆ Visiting from out of state and decided to check this place out. Was very happy with the food. Ordered the Karahi Chicken (a little spicy but very tasty), Goat Biryani (delicious) w Paratha/Naan and Raita. Portions were sizable, had enough to last a few days. Overall, the food was very tasty, a tad pricey but worth it. The owner was very friendly and restaurant itself felt very homely (like you were eating at your Aunts place). Food is 100% Halal, owners are Muslim. Great to have delicious halal indian/pakistani food in the area. Will DEFINITELY be back to this place when I visit the area again. Posted on January 3, 2012 |

★★★★★ Hands down a 5... looked at the place n thought it wasn't gona be that good..cuz it was empty had some weird dishes..but they were extremely good the uncle there was very friendly even offered me water as I waited for my togo order. I do wish they increase the actual menu like goat biryani would be nice.. so the brain w goat is amazing was shocked how good it was..I was thinking I dono if it'll be good lol real good though. Also the handi chicken was great also.. additionally their portions are a good size..price isn't cheap but its worth the quality food.. naan and rice are both good too..and by the way theygive u good amount of meat too I've gone to some of the local places and they cheap out..overall i liked it a lot I hope these guys do well. I will go again for sure.. so far only one of the few places in naperville or close by I gave a 5. Posted on October 9, 2011 |

★★★★★ Very good food and reasonably priced (they're running a ramzan deal) - thankfully its not like the Indian restaurants as they serve genuine Pakistani fresh food. Posted on August 17, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ It is the first Pakistani restaurant in this area. We have tried their halva puri breakfast which was just great, puri tasted like Lahore, but they were missing potato bhaji which they promised to start from next week.
I have picked up food two times, both times the taste was good but quantity was too little for the price i paid. The owners are very nice people and i wish them success but they also need to balance the price and quantity of food. Posted on June 29, 2011 |
