★★★★★ Have been visiting this place since it opened. The flavor of the food has always been the same. This is a family owned restaurant/meat shop/grocery. The best of it all is the lunch specials.
You can never go wrong by visiting this place for lunch or dinner. Always consistent.
Safe and good sit down for family and great personalized service by owners who are always smiling and ready to serve. Posted on June 1, 2020 |

★★★★★ We love eating at ACI. We’ve been eating here since we moved to the area 10 years ago. All their food is very flavorful. We usually get the paltican solsu which is a very delicious eggplant dish. My kids love eating the lentil soup, though I’ve had better. I feel like it lacks salt or flavor. But everything else is amazing. We usually get either mixed grill, or chicken tavuk or Adana kabob.there is another version of Adana that’s even more flavorful, starts with an I. But I forgot the name. And the other great part is the Turkish grocery! It’s our favorite Turkish restaurant in the area. And it’s family owned business and they are always so friendly and nice. ★★★★☆ I was a little disappointed with the meats. I went here after all the good reviews but the food was nothing special. The only thing that was excellent was the bread and fries. The adana was weak. Doner lacked proper flavor. The lamb chops were good. The kofte was good. Overall it was not all that i thought it would be. There was also BYOB alcohol being opened. ★★★★☆ The food was great. We were a family of 6 but my husband and i ordered separately. We ordered chicken iskinder, doner kabob, cigara, and rice pudding and really loved everything. The service was really slow though and the neighborhood isn't that great. Posted on March 5, 2016 |

★★★★★ I have been a regular customer to this restaurant for 8 years, their food is awesome and every time I enjoy it. Keep it up.
I wish they give some attention to the atmosphere, Turkish culture is beautiful but it is not seen in the restaurant. Posted on September 4, 2014 |

★★★★☆ Quite nice. A mom & pop type place attached to a small Turkish dry goods and halal butcher. I had he tavuk kebab, and it was not dry or bland as another poster commented. Served with a wonderful roasted hot chili and a basket of Turkish bread, and priced reasonably for what you get and the fact it's halal. Posted on September 9, 2012 |

★★★★★ Alcohol is not sold but customers are allowed to bring alcohol.
Food is consistently good lunch specials on weekdays are great deals.
We go there all the time Posted on July 7, 2012 |

★★★★☆ Food is excellent. I had Adana kabob as well as Gyro sandwich. Service is a little slow but that's because they prepare fresh. Posted on April 7, 2012 |

★★★★☆ The food is good but somewhat dry and bland. Chicken tawuk and Adana Kebab sandwiches are a family favorite. Prices are on the higher end, but reasonable. Owners/staff are very friendly. Posted on September 9, 2011 |

NR I have been to many Turkish restaurants.
The place is not that clean. It is tucked in a corner of a grocery store but they treat it like an upscale restaurant (which is not that upscale at all).
There is only one person taking care of everything including seating you.
After waiting for 15 minutes, talking to the waitress and looking at the menu (entree prices range from $12 to $20), we decided not to stay. Posted on June 26, 2011 |

★★★★★ Located just off the main drag and not far from the local masjid, this is some of the best Turkish food I've had in the US. Like many ethnic restaurants it's a baqala type place that's co-located with a grocery store and halal meat butcher.
I went for lunch, the lunch special entrees were an excellent value, they have the usual pita pocket wraps for 5-6 dollars and entrees with rice, kababs, salad, soup and a drink for 10 dollars.
I got the lamb kabab special with lentil soup and a Doner pita sandwich to go. Meat was seasoned superbly and was very tender and the rice and soup were great also. They have all the standard Turkish fare and more, including Adana, Beyti, Iskender kababs, Tavuk, boreks and stuffed grape leaves for appetizers. Service was swift and responsive. ★★★★☆ Visited for lunch while on a road trip with my family. The lunch special was a good value with soup bread meal and beverage. We liked our Adana kababs. Very clean place. Their rice was very similar to this Turkish pilaf my friend from Turkey makes, so not sure about previous review that critiqued rice. We thought it was delicious and appreciated being able to eat halal non greasy fresh food. Posted on July 17, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ You walk through the grocery store to get to the restaurant. The food is ok nothing to write home about. That being said that staff there is very friendly and are very helpful. The Chicken Kabab was good. Posted on September 9, 2009 |

NR bismillah! The restaurant is average and food is excellent. It's not smoke free and was suffocated and took carryout. Guess, it should be a smoke-free restaurant and a better customer service. As a whole, it's clean and a nice halal restaurant. Posted on June 26, 2008 |

★★★☆☆ Ok I know we people in Allentown do NOT have many places to choose from, however the rice isn't basmati rice # 1, # 2 the food is a bit too dry for my taste, although their kabob meat is tender- so thats a plus. Thank's for being one of the only halal restaurants around. Posted on April 1, 2006 |

★★★★☆ The food is excellent and yes, the service is friendly but slow. My one objection would be that the owners and employees smoke cigarettes in the restaurant. It should be smoke free as this is the only thing that has kept me from returning. I will say something to them i guess because I love the food. Posted on February 13, 2006 |

★★★★★ This is a real nice restaurant, next to the halaal meat store. Very friendly service, we had a barbecue lamb and kebab with yogurt and Turkish bread, service was great although it took a long time to get the food, it might help to call 20 mins before you go so they can get started, but the good barbecue makes up for the long wait time. For desert, we had rice pudding, it was lovely. Posted on April 2, 2005 |

★★★★★ Bisminlahirahmanirahim. I am speechless when it comes to the ACI Family restaurant. The family does a great job with their restaurant, as well as the grocery store/butcher that's built right in! It's a family run business. Their children help out, and are excellently raised in America under Islamic rules! The owners truly do their best at cleaning the store up. It has a huge parking lot, and lot's of space inside! please when you come to the area, come and visit the place! i will guarantee you will leave satisfied Posted on January 19, 2004 |
