★★★☆☆ We came in and sit down. I asked the waitress if this was halal. She said huh? Then proceeded to tell us the pepperoni and sausages are probably not and the chicken is. We ordered all vegetarian cause there no signs. Beware please. Posted on July 2, 2022 |

★★★★★ We are traveling from Oklahoma to Nashville and we stopped by at this restaurant!
We loved each meal we ordered , so much tasty that we ordered to go with us for Nashville, they have very unique taste and quantity is double with very fare prices.
We will love to stop by next time In-Sha'a-Allah.
I will give 5/5 rating. Posted on August 16, 2015 |

★★★★★ I had a good discussion with one of the staff members about zabihah vs halal. He advised that the goat and beef are hand slaughtered but the chicken is not. They also have pepperoni which is not halal. The prices are reasonable and the food is good.
We had the artichoke and gyro pizza and a Mediterranean burger. The total came out to $15 for both. Posted on May 26, 2015 |

★★★★★ The portions are very good and the food is excellent. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful with food selection. They have great selection of food to choose from and you can either sit or take out. Whenever I went there, the place was full. I would recommend this place to everyone visiting the area. ★★★★☆ Another nice resturant in Little Rock. Fast service. More like a casual restuarant. Food was cheap and tasted good. Posted on August 31, 2012 |

★★★★★ This place rocks. Food is really good and fresh. Service is quick and to the point. Location is okay, but definitely go there for the food and not the decor. It gets really busy, so sometimes its better to just order carryout. It's always ready in 15 minutes, on the dime.
Prices are really good for the amount of meat, bread, salad and sauce they give you. Ask for spicy Gyro and they'll sometimes forget to make it extra spicy - but it still tastes damn good. Chicken Shwarma is also very tasty. Probably my two favorite dishes there.
Owner is a really straightforward and decent guy. From what I know he provides halal meat for the community and also to the Islamic Center, especially during Ramadhan. Posted on December 9, 2011 |

★☆☆☆☆ I am really sad. We have been eating at Layla's for a few years now, both before we lived in Arkansas and countless times since we have moved here.
Just a week ago, did I learn that they do not have a full Halal menu, even after checking many times in the beginning, receiving assurance from the owner and staff members that all their food was Halal!
In all this time, even with numerous conversations with the owner, he never mentioned that some of his meat was not Halal. We would even buy meat from his store!
The chicken and gyro he sells is Halal, but nothing else. This is from the owner himself.
I am sorry to say, that even though we had enjoyed ourselves at Layla's before, we will NOT be returning. Posted on November 24, 2010 |

★★★★★ This place is a hole in the wall but the food is really good. Everything that I have tried is amazing. Their portions are very generous and some are good enough for two people. Food is fresh and taste is authentic. Prices are very reasonable. Try their gyros, calzones, pizza, chicken saaba or platters. Everything is good. I would definitely recommend this place to all. The only shortcoming that I can think of is the service. You may get your partial order, then wait for the rest for a long time or get your food and then get up and hunt for silverware and napkins yourself. Don't try to call in your order. You may not get it or will get someone else's order. They don't take names when you call in and have managed to mess up my order at least 5 out of possible 7 or 8 times. Inspite of this disorganized ordering chaos it is still my favorite place in Little Rock to eat. Posted on November 10, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ Cozy restaurant in Little Rock. Average prices, good variety of food. They have daily specials, and sampler plates. Full zabihah menu. They slaughter their own meat, so you know it is fresh. Average portion size. Nice staff. Right now, they seem to be in a phase where they should be looking at expanding and perhaps adding some room and staff. They have not done anything yet to distinguish themselves from other middle eastern or ethnic restaurants in the area, and need to take that step to move on to the next level. Until they take that next step, which they seem ready to do with their service, food, and structure, they remain average. Posted on March 9, 2010 |

★★★★★ I am fan of this place, variety in menu and superb taste. I go almost once a week, and they are improving day by day. Gyros, Kibbeh, Colozone and Kefta Kebab etc etc. Friendly service and freshly prepared items
!!!!!!!!!They do have few non-zabihah dishes in their menu and if you ask they will let you know about it!!!!!!!! Posted on May 1, 2008 |
