★★☆☆☆ Imagine you are back in your ancestral land, where the roads are dirty, the furniture is sturdy - made out of iron possibly - and the average man is chigat (greasy) looking. Well, welcome to this place my esteem carnivore. Went with family for a small celebration. Not much crowd. Got up to order a few appetizers to start off, and was told by the cashier, who did not know anything and kept referring to a 15 year old boy standing on the side, that none of the appetizers we wanted were available. What?? Then I asked what is available, 'none' he said. (This is the second time this happened to me) This is suppose to be a restaurant, not a shoe store, where the latest popular Jordans ran out of stock. Okay whatever, I just ordered the main courses.... 10 min...15 min....other people come, sit, their food is out...20 min....other people laughing..... family looking at me .... go pray magrib next door...... comeback food is out 30-40 mins later. I wish this is were the roller coaster had ended but it continued. The rice in the entree was definitely mixed with 3 day old and yesterdays rice, the skewered kabab was really tough. Their naan on the other had was good, assuming it was the freshest thing there. However, the highly praised chicken karahi, which is always the 'special' came out of the kitchen with bones in it. Not one leg bone here or there. But with chicken spine and femur with no meat. What meat is there on the spine? We ate whatever we could, and left. But right before doing so, I bought two kulfi from the freezer. Lets just say those kulfis were the talk of the town on our drive home. Posted on August 1, 2016 |

★★☆☆☆ I always place my order at least 2-3hrs in advance. My final and last time, I waited over 1 hr in there cramped quarters while the butcher ignored me even though i told him that i was picking up a previously placed order. what really upset me was that two "friends" came in after me and had there orders completed prior to mine. The meat is very fatty and bony!!! WILL NOT ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!!!! Posted on November 22, 2004 |

★★★☆☆ Once we received a package of spices with bugs in it. The cashier let us get another box. The store is not very tidy. There is a masjid right next door that belongs to the halal meat store. The meat is good when fresh. Posted on November 6, 2004 |
