The food was excellent, service was amazing, atmosphere and decor was great. We had the mixed grill, and thank goodness we ordered one to share because it was a LOT of food. However, the portion of rice was quite small compared to other places. But overall everything was fresh and tasty.
We also had baklava for dessert, tea, and Turkish coffee. These took some time to arrive (about 5-10 mins) because the baklava was brought fresh from the bakery across the street, and the Turkish coffee usually takes some time to prepare. The waitress warned us in advance that this might take a few minutes, we told her it's no problem, she still apologized for the (short) wait when she returned, and even comped our tea! How nice of her!

★★★☆☆ FYI: The Windsor Palace is owned by Christians, who assure us that the food is halal. The food is average. The kebabs are juicy, but only because the meat is mixed with a lot of fat.
